Our group of three couples stayed with Nonie and Armand for a little staycation, and we couldn't be happier with our experience. As fellow Airbnb hosts, it was a delight to be on the receiving end of such exceptional hospitality. Nonie and Armond truly go above and beyond to ensure their guests feel welcome and cared for. Although it rained for much of our stay, having the covered outdoor gazebo allowed us to continue enjoying the peaceful surroundings. You can tell how much thought and love goes into their home, making it a special place. The photos simply don’t capture how amazing it truly is. Our group frequently rents Airbnbs, and while we were initially hesitant about this type of stay, we are so glad we chose it. Nonie and Armand are wonderful people who made us feel right at home. We wholeheartedly recommend their place for anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Ann is a fabulous host and goes above and beyond expectations. Her home is a treasure of colours and textures from her travels “around the world”. Very comfortable bedroom. Beautiful garden, even in the fall. Very difficult decision as to what to choose for breakfast given the choices she gave me. Delicious! Highly recommend it. (The location was perfect for the event I attended at Chestnut Creek). Enchanting!

We really enjoyed our stay. The place is close to downtown Barrie, but has a lovely, rural feel. The host was very accommodating and communicated often.

Kathleen was an absolutely charming host. We slept like stones and had a delicious breakfast with quality local and/or organic produce as well as home made sour dough bread.

The most stunning cottage we’ve been to. Extremely beautiful! The place was super clean and rooms were very comfortable. The area was beautiful, but really far from grocery stores and restaurants. Make sure to go prepared! The lake had a bit of seaweed, but nothing that you can’t handle. The only issue we’ve encountered was the drive way, it was super steep and full of bumps and holes. Overall the stay was perfect! I would definitely recommend for a cute girls weekend :)

Ela is a wonderful host. My daughter and I felt so taken care of during our stay. I also got to learn a lot of wisdom from Ela, and she even gifted me a book. She was very hospitable, and I would definitely recommend this airbnb if you want to feel taken care of, and want a hands on host.

INCREDIBLE PLACE !!! The best airbnb i've been to. Very clean and quiet. The bed was very comfortable. They put out some coffee pods and cereals for us to use. They also left a home made booklet with information and recommendations about the town. I 100% RECOMMEND TO EVERYONE.

We had an amazing stay! The place was even better in person, clean, cozy, and perfectly located near the lake. We experienced exactly what we were looking for, peace and relaxation. Rad even offered a fishing net for my daughter to use during our fishing time. She was very accommodating and quick to respond. We highly recommend this spot for a relaxing getaway.

We had an amazing stay at Katarina and John’s place! From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless—check-in was easy, and the space was spotless and beautifully designed. One of the highlights was the complimentary breakfast bar, which was such a thoughtful touch and made our mornings so much more enjoyable. Katarina was an exceptional host, always responsive and ensuring I had everything we needed. The location was perfect, and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. We had a fantastic 2 night stay at this beautiful b'n'b! From booking to the last day, Stu and his partner were so lovely, quick to respond, provided tons of local recommendations and hospitality was amazing! Everything is true to the pictures and the place is STUNNING. The room was great with AC unit & ceiling fan, lovely common areas, & a beautiful deck & garden with views out over the lake. We used the kayaks, peddle boat and paddleboard, we didnt need the bikes. Lounged dock-side & basically chilled the entire weekend which coming from DT Toronto was what the soul needed. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty - eggs, peameal bacon, croissants, fruit & yoghurt, juices and Tea, Starbucks coffee pods. We used the food delivery service Stu told us about, and Uber is subsidized by the city. Super easy & cheap to get to without a car & we enjoyed walking around the neighborhood/beaches. Bring some wine, watch the sunset and sunrise, and play on the lake. Honestly, we will 100% be back!

Had a great overnight stay here. Very comfortable room. Hosts are very friendly and gave us good recommendations for local food. The breakfast they served was delicious. Will try to come back here again.
