Got lucky that it freed up a couple of days before I booked. Great spot, and even got me a parking pass so I could park on the street. Host was responsive and that's really important to me. I'd highly recommend and might book there again!

Dan’s place was so awesome to be in. It felt like we were it such a cozy home. He wrote great instructions for us to find the place and get in. He really did a great job making sure he was available for any questions that we had. The space was very clean and filled with all the necessities we needed! So even if we ran out of something he had extra. He has a Murphy bed that was so cool to see and the space was set up to utilize the small size. Everything in there was intentional. The spot was close to Main St where all the cool shops were at. We took the bus to get to the spot and cabs to get around throughout our weekend. I would definitely come back to beacon and we appreciate that we were able to stay there!

The apartment was charming and clean just like we expected from the photos. It’s a great place to stay if you want a quiet place to relax. Stan was very responsive and helpful when we had a minor issue. I would stay again!

I enjoyed my stay. It's very quiet and peaceful there! The bed/mattress was very comfortable, and I appreciated that my hosts did NOT use fragranced, chemical laundry or cleaning products. So bedding and (very plush) towels were easy for me to use. This host actually had more than one tissue box in the apt; it's so rare to find even one tissue box, let alone multiples! Also, crucially, a nightlight in the bathroom. A few notes for potential future visitors. First, if you are very very arachnophobic, this fully ground-level place might not work for you. Second, I strongly recommend pulling in to the driveway and turning around so that you'd drive out. (Might be hard to back up the driveway if you're not used to that!) Third, if you're sensitive to sunrise, bring an eyemask/eye shade to block light. It's a nicely light-filled space even with blinds closed.

I chose Marlene’s lovely spot primarily because it was in a location convenient for short trips to visit family and friends in Wallingford, Middlebury and Middletown while on my way south from New Hampshire. The peaceful, quiet surroundings along with a spotless, well-appointed accommodation made it very appealing: highly recommended.

Tim was an exceptional host. The apartment was clean and centrally located. Would definitely stay there again.

Comfortable space with fun, eclectic furnishings. We stayed in the apartment at Tim’s while visiting area colleges and didn’t get to fully enjoy the gorgeous views from the Inn’s front porch. Would love to come back and catch a sunset over the Hudson!

Great place, pictures are representative. The whole place is huge and just a perfect place to stay. Location is amazing, walkable to the New Haven green and loads of restaurants and bars. Martin is a great host and leaves very clear instructions which is really helpful. Would definitely stay again. Only note- floors/ceiling seem quite thin so the upstairs neighbours could hear us and we could hear them at certain points of the day. But that did not dampen our trip at all. If anyone is visiting we highly recommend Trinity on orange street, amazing Irish pub with sports and classic pub grub. And Georgie’s diner in west haven - classic American diner style with great food options.

This was just what I needed for my first trip to Mohegan Lake! Quiet neighborhood. Cozy bed. Great water pressure. I’ll definitely be booking again if I come back to this cute little town.

This place had so much to do that one night just didn’t cut it. We loved the sauna and hot tub. There were beautiful plants all over. The bed linens were very high quality and check in and check out were very easy. We had a question about the hot tub and sent Shane a message and he was responsive. Great stay, we would love to go back!

What a magical escape for a night! The hot tub was perfect with a symphony of frogs! The hosts were phenomenal, leaving chocolate, half and half and oranges for our stay. We loved the essential oil diffuser and the best thing- all the lights were dimmable!

Theresa was an amazing host, she clearly communicated with us along the way, and made sure we had our privacy & provided the upmost comfort. Her space was well kept and full of considerate touches to facilitate a relaxing stay, the subtleties go a long way. We enjoyed the hot tub in the snow, shared a few stories of skiing adventures & loved the friendly visits from Ben. The views were picturesque to boot, we definitely plan to come stay in other seasons.

This is a lovely home in a beautiful setting. It is quite close to Stratton and the hosts were all great communicators with a quick response time. I hope to stay there again sometime!

We had a great short stay at Louis's place. It was just as described--very clean and comfortable. Louis was an excellent communicator and very responsive. I would definitely come back next time we are in the area! Highly recommend.
