Our micro-farm was set up to be energy conscious while allowing very comfortable and luxury accommodation. The Residency

The Residency is a spacious self-catering unit for up to four guests, featuring a king-size bed in the main bedroom and two extra-length ¾ beds in the second bedroom. It offers two bathrooms (one en-suite and a second with a shower) and a fully equipped kitchen with a gas stove, cookware and breakware. Perfect for entertaining, it features a cozy fireplace, air-conditioning, a fully enclosed patio with a braai and entertainment area. There is complimentary wood supplied for your first fire.

Tugela River Lodge is a pet friendly, self-catering Eco-Lodge, located on a private cattle and game farm on the banks of the Tugela River, near Winterton, KZN, South Africa. We run off solar and gas and invite guest to come and enjoy the quiet side of nature. Our lodge has access to many miles of trails for hiking, biking and running through our private game farm where one can get up close and personal with our resident giraffe. Wyford is great for families, especially with children, and good for couples, solo adventurers and business travellers. It is of historical interest as it is situated on the first pass over the Drakensburg mountains used by the ox wagons taking supplies to the mines from the coast.
