This house was a great size for two families to fit comfortably. It was in walking distance to the river, the park, and town plus an easy drive to Monarch Mountain. Great spot for spring break .... We would definitely book again!

We love Salida and this location was absolutely perfect - right along the Monarch path and easy access to downtown shopping and restaurants. Also close to parks/playgrounds for my young kids who were traveling with us. The house is quaint, but has everything you need. Lots of beautiful sunlight and a great spot for a quick spring break getaway. Host was responsive and very helpful. We'll be back!

Jacquie was an excellent host and communicated very well! The house was super clean and the check in process was a breeze. There was also an alarm system that helped give us a little peace of mind! I do feel like a few of the “extras” were a little oversold. The “assortment of Colorado beer” was 2 beers, same kind. The hot tub also had some pretty strict instructions that went with it. We would have loved to been able to spend more than 1 hour a day in the hot tub. All in all it was a great experience so it deserves all 5 of the stars!!

Our stay was great! Jacquie was a super kind and responsive host. The area was beautiful and remote but still close to so many things to do. The cabin was exactly as described and was very clean. A great get away from the city! Cell service was a little spotty due to the remote location, but WiFi at the cabin worked really well. Definitely recommend getting the check in info prior to getting too close to the cabin to avoid having to drive back into town to get the door code. Overall the stay was absolutely amazing and the cabin was a great landing place after long days outside!!

Beautiful place. We had the two flats and the main downstairs rooms which was perfect. Great design for us. Manitou is lovely but very quiet in the evenings.

This house was perfect for the two of us. Private yet very close to town. The floor plan is a bit quirky- we slept in the king size bedroom, but used the larger bathroom which is intended for the other two bedrooms (the bathroom closest to our bedroom was tiny). The house has some vintage features which add to its charm. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked with spices, oil, vinegar, cookware, dishes, utensils, etc. There is a washer, which we used. A nice clothes line is in the backyard. The backyard and front porch are delightful for outdoor relaxation. We would definitely stay here again. Gigi was a super host.

We loved staying here! We saw a ton of wildlife walking around outside the Airbnb! It definitely fueled our mountain homeowner dreams, and we would stay there again anytime!

I booked this cabin for my wife’s birthday. It was 12 minutes away from the Royal Gorge Route Railroad and tons of cute shops and restaurants. It was about 5 minutes away from the Dinosaur exhibit, which is great if you’re traveling with kids. The view was beautiful and the place was just as pictured. I will say that I wish there was a shade on the sliding windows and the front door.. as there was a lot of otherwise beautiful natural light coming in even at night. There’s a door for the bedroom and as long as you close it, you’ll have the best sleep ever- regardless. The location was peaceful and had a playground plus a seasonal hot tub & pool. The host was very responsive and gave a detailed check-in and check-out guide that was easy to follow. They left us sparkly juice and chocolates which I thought was a sweet way to welcome us into the cabin. We recommend this stay.

This was a lovely stay! the house is super cute and they have found ways to allow good air flow and the bed is very comfortable and welcoming. The host was very helpful in responsive to our concerns and needs.
