Te Ika-a-Māui / North Island: soggiorni in container

We stayed there for one month and really enjoyed our time at this beautiful bus. The kitchen outside is very cool and it was really fun to spent so much time at this silent, natural place. The check in and check out was very simple and flexible. We were always able to contact Gerry even when we were away and he also gave us helpful tips :)

We chose this bach for its location, which was perfect right behind the surf club. Cosy and comfortable, (especially the beds!), great outlook over the reserve, clean and tidy, it had everything we needed for our stay. Loved it!

Great place out of the city. Only issue was workers building outside early in the morning. A part from that great place to stay. Can get sqishy in the lounge with a bigger group. Would recommend.

Lorna’s place has a multi million dollar view and it is very peaceful. Our hosts are amazing and we plan to come back soon. Thank you.

This was a lovely, peaceful farm stay. The converted shipping containers make an excellent set up for singles or couples. It's quick to get into Te Aroha for cafes, hiking and the hot springs.

Would highly recommend to any couple or single who wants a peaceful getaway 10 minutes from Whangamatā. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

We booked this along with the main house and are in love and will be back. The whole space was amazing, well set up and stocked etc with the best views and sounds of the ocean ever. Thank you both so much again x

The place was super cozy, sweet spot if you like a quiet accommodation! Tipping down all day which was unfortunate, however the accommodation itself was class. Kimba is a super sweet host with clear information provided pre check in. Highly recommend this amazing accommodation.

This place was “the bomb” according to my children. The alpacas, sheep, cows, ducks you name it kept the kids well entertained. After a long drive we stretched our legs waking around the property. With a fully self-contained kitchen we made a home cooked meal. The floor to ceiling glass windows looking out to nature was just beautiful. If only we could have stayed longer. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Amazing place to stay with lovely views of Mt Taranaki. There was everything we needed and more. As the guests we were well taken care of.

The perfect couples retreat, stunning views and very clean spot. Airbnb had everything we needed, lovely grill for cooking and everything was clean.

A beautiful and peaceful spot on a hill surrounded by sheep and greenery. The Airbnb itself is decorated with unique personality and we enjoyed coffee on the patio outside.

We had an amazing time! The tiny house feels cozy, has a nice little kitchen that suited our needs, and a peaceful sitting area right outside to listen to the sound of chirping birds and visits from a sweet neighborhood cat. This spot is well hidden and has its own charm. Scott and his wife were very hospitable and offered us great recommendations around town!

Great place to stay at Whale Bay. It is well set up and comfortable. Tom, the host, helpfully let us add an extra person last minute. We appreciated being able to have our dog with us. Would recommend.

Southwind is an amazingly beautiful place, my partner and I had visited for my birthday and had the best time ever! It was so relaxing and homey. Paul and Glenys were so welcoming from the moment we arrived and greeted us with open arms. Paul gave us an eye opening tour of his amazing work shop and Glenys wonderful garden is to die for. The home was so beautiful and clean and is worth every single cent. 20/10 We will most definitely be coming back.

My family and I loved Debby’s place! We loved how the pods surrounded the dining/outdoor area. Cool batch feel. There was lots of room for everyone, lots of grass space and an outside toilet and shower. It had everything we needed. Just a 5 min walk to the beach and 5 minute drive to town.
