Come and enjoy sunset walks on the beach, our local brewery, a cosy cinema with great café and you will be spoilt for choice with lots of places to eat ethnic foods (dine in or take away).

This modern, architect-designed 42m² home sits on the city fringe, in a sunny, private garden setting. Enter and feel instantly at home in your own hideaway. Note: you’ll need to climb 3 flights of stairs; the house is behind another property. See photos for distance reference. Rooms aren’t soundproof perforations connect bedrooms to the living area for heat, light, and air. High perforated screens give some separation. The Lighthouse

The Lighthouse is a unique, romantic place on the South Coast. Stunning views, opposite a swimming and dog beach plus rock pools, it’s great for walks. With a comfy double bed and steep stairs, it’s private and quiet - brilliant on a sunny day, cosy in a storm. There's a fantastic cafe around the corner; shops are 10 minutes’ walk away. The main Island Bay bus stop is nearby with regular buses. It's a 9 minute drive to the airport and 15 minutes to downtown Wellington. Small dogs on request.

Private, clean & warm studio. Comfortable queen bed, en-suite & TV/lounge area. Dining table/desk. Trundler bed on request. NO KITCHEN but microwave, fridge, kettle, toaster, cereal, tea & coffee provided. Street parking. Off street parking on request. Medium friendly house trained dogs welcome, $25 per booking. Dogs cannot be left for more than 2 hrs. Add pets to the booking. Our friendly medium sized dog has free range of the shared fenced back yard & barks to greet arriving guests.

A perfect spot to stay for bush-walkers and mountain bikers or for sport or music fans in Wellington for a game or a concert. You’ll see tui and kereru and hear ruru at night. Otari Wilton Bush is over the road, Zealandia 2km away, and it’s a 10-min drive to Makara Peak. You've got a dedicated off road car park and you're 30 metres from a bus that runs at least every 30 minutes every day. You can cook, do laundry, and iron if you want to.
