Tasman Bay / Te Tai-o-Aorere: soggiorni in ville vacanze

It felt like home very quickly. Comfy beds. Beautiful period rural house in a large garden with mature trees. Easy to find a quiet spot under a tree to read a book. Plenty of parking. A good kitchen and laundry. Fresh plums and heaps more in a welcome hamper. The cats were adorable. They called by for some food and a pat a few times a day and then disappeared into the garden. Too many pluses to mention (and we stay in a lot of airbnbs). Negatives which are hardly worth mentioning would be road noise - not too bad and you don't notice it after day 1 - and the kitchen knives were not terribly sharp.

Beautiful spot, lovely home with gorgeous views. Loved the artwork, very relaxed feel with super comfy beds and plenty of space . Would definitely stay there again, really easy check in and out. Perfect spot for a relaxed getaway with friends.

We absolutely LOVED our stay at Lyns, it is an incredible property on a beautiful Beachfront setting. The accommodation was comfortable with beautiful views. Would highly recommend to anyone

French pass is stunning, Lyn was the perfect host, the villa was relaxing and had fabulous views from bed and lounge. Also a lovely outdoor area, to enjoy a morning coffee or glass of wine later in the day.

Our stay at Diane’s place was fantastic. The home is beautiful, very cute and had everything we needed. Diane is super responsive, helpful and friendly. Couldn’t recommend more.

We loved our stay at the Hawkesbury Homestead!! Beautiful house, plenty of space, lovely grounds and surroundings! Lynda was an amazing host, very communicative and helpful with several local recommendations that were all fabulous.

Perfect location for a girls weekend. We organised on line shopping and Mike meet our deliveries and unpacked our groceries for us. The view to wake up too in the morning was just gorgeous . Vineyards , the mountains and sheep staring back at you. 😀. We were escaping from Auckland so we appreciated the scenery. Thank you Mike

This is a very special spot in NZ. Leanne’s cottage has everything you could possibly want from a beautiful, well stocked kitchen, to a comfortable and inviting living area to unwind in and relax and 3 of the coziest bedrooms as well as beautiful bathrooms and bonus… a hot tub! Wow!! You can tell this place was a labour of love and the family property is absolutely beautiful as well We were invited to walk and pick from their gorgeous gardens and welcomed by their adorable dogs. This was a place that was truly difficult to leave and we are so grateful that we were given such a wonderful spot and home to stay in. Thank you so much Leanne and Dale.

This was our second visit to Atatu and we weren't disappointed. This is a truly beautiful place to stay. The house is fantastic with every facility you could possibly need. A place for total relaxation with pool, spa and space. Beautiful countryside and the sounds of nature on your doorstep. Panoramic views across rolling hills of olive and pine nut trees out to the ocean beyond. If you like to cook then you'll find everything you need in the well appointed kitchen. Lots of dining space both inside and out. Basia is the ultimate host. Informative, helpful, proactive, doing everything she can to make sure your stay is perfect. We had a wonderful stay and hope to return a third time next year.

This place was amazing!!! We booked the whole place and had a family reunion with 15 adults, 2 kids and an infant and the villa was perfect! If anything she under sells how wonderful it is!

We really enjoyed our stay at the batch. It was as clean and comfortable. Peaceful and such a beautiful position. Nastascha was friendly gave great advice and was available for help if we needed anything.

We stayed for a full week and used the house as a base to explore Nelson and surrounds, Havelock (where we took a boat into the Sounds and Blenheim / wineries. After a day exploring, and some days when we didn’t leave the house, we lapped up the views and quiet time - card games, reading, cooking, drinking great NZ wine. The sauna and wood fired hot tub was amazing especially when the skies were clear. The views are spectacular! The drive up the hill is as described (terrifying in the wild wind and rain we had!). Make sure you book a 4WD or an all wheel drive as NZ weather is famously unpredictable. Great hosts who thought of all the small touches and were super responsive.
