Our modern earth home is a cozy, craftsman-built nest that treats its visitors to light, open space & color. It has a quiet, private setting with everything needed to make your stay comfortable &, hopefully, inspired. The outdoors is this home's other half, creating an enveloping amphitheater of gardens, birds, trees & a hammock. Beyond this private nest are 360 degree views of the Sangre de Christo Mountains, the Rio Grande Gorge, spectacular sunset displays & miles of walking & bike trails.

Located in the world-famous Greater World Earthship Community, this modern off-grid home is one of a kind! Built by hand over 8 years by me, your host, Kirsten. This sustainable house is bright, light, and airy with clean lines and unique details. Like all Earthships this house is built from natural and repurposed materials such as used automobile tires, cardboard, old cans and bottles. All electricity for the house is from solar. All water is from the sky. More comfort, less hippie.

With the use of the loft and two bedroom it sleeps 8. 2 minute walk (no hills) to the base to click in and ski or enjoy the apres ski or other base dinner and entertainment. The kitchen is well stocked and our host will shop and stock the kitchen with your favorite food and drinks prior. All quality linens, furniture and mattresses. Recently upgraded Internet and Wi-Fi.

Beautiful Studio 1.5 miles from Taos Ski Valley

Cozy studio 1.5 miles from the base of Taos Ski Valley, on the banks of the Rio Hondo River. Newly renovated! One queen bed, one sofa bed, fireplace, and a balcony overlooking the river and national forest. Guests can use a communal washer/dryer and an elliptical machine. Great hiking and fishing right from front door! We also own another studio in the same complex that sleeps 4, and can be rented at the same time pending availability.
