Lovely stay for the weekend - it’s really beautiful and well appointed. Spotless and spacious. Communication before arrival was excellent. I scraped my ankle and the hosts provided plasters promptly which was much appreciated. Bath was also very comfy, a real treat as we don’t have one! Would definitely recommend.

The good life is such a great place to stay and chill or to use as a base . Very accompanying owners that meet you in person and explain everything. Then they leave you to enjoy. We loved it and will definitely be going back again. Thank you debbie and Rodger . Jon and deb x

The cottage was perfect. It was homely, beautifully thought out and furnished with lots of little furnishing to make it really cosy and welcoming. We loved the outside spaces too- the hot tub was amazing and the BBQ area too. It certainly gave us all we needed for a fabulous stay. We’ll definitely be back.

We had a great time at Ann and Andrew's property, we really liked the location, the house was very welcoming and cosy, we loved the garden and the hot tub, also lovely to have some local recommendations, easy check in and always a parking space when we went out for the day

We had a lovely family stay. The cottage and esp the hot tub were fab. Lots for the kids to play with and do, and nice to chill out

This place was great because it felt like it was away from the city, but right outside the front door, you could get a bus to Bristol in under 20 minutes. The pub down the road was within a very easy walkable distance (it was delicious too!). Carley left great instructions and made sure we had everything we needed. My friend is potentially planning on returning with her family too!

A really lovely location, very private and peaceful. There were so many nice local walks and a lovely Jacuzzi to sink into afterwards! The cottage was really cozy and very warm. Meng was really kind and generous with advice and was always ready to offer recommendations and encouraged us to ask if we needed anything. An amazing host, an amazing cottage and an amazing weekend getaway!

Jamie and Dan were brilliant hosts. We were welcomed with the key in the door ready for arrival with a bottle of Prosecco and a bottle of milk for a cup of tea! The cottage was beautifully presented - perfect for a couples retreat. The cottage is very tucked away however, Jamie’s instructions were spot on so made it very easy to find. Dan messaged us to check that we had everything that we wanted and to just let them know if we needed anything. We based ourselves here and went to and from Gloucester and Cheltenham. A lush weekend and would highly recommend!

Karl was a great host and responded very quickly. He was waiting to meet us when we arrived, very welcoming and showed us around and how everything worked. House was great and surprisingly big, much more spacious than the pictures do it justice! Had everything inside that we needed and was very quiet and private. Garden is secure unless, like my dog, they're keen to jump fences!! Beds were super comfy and we got a great night sleep every night. Loads of walking nearby and a great base to explore the Elan Valley and local town, both of which are lovely. Thank you very much, we were sad to leave as we had a great time!

We had a lovely stay in the beautiful cottage. We would definitely return. Very comfortable and well provisioned. The only thing to note for travellers with large vehicles is that the turning into the parking space is very tight. We have a short bed transporter van and made it with inches to spare - a long bed van/camper etc would probably not make it in. However, there is parking on the street.

We stayed at Dan’s beautiful cottage for a few nights during the Easter break. The cottage is in the perfect location, peaceful and only a short walk to the sea front where there are lots of restaurant and pubs, not to mention amazing walks along the promenade. The cottage is well equipped, clean and tidy. The eggs and milk on arrival was a lovely gesture - Thank you. Dan was the perfect host - only taking minutes to respond to messages. He even allowed us to check out at a time convenient to us on our departure date as he didn’t have anybody staying that day. This was a great help and very much appreciated. We would definitely look to stay at the cottage again as we visit Swansea quite often. Highly recommended.

There are SuperHosts and then there’s Pete!! What a star - he likes to chat to newcomers if he can, and we found him full of really useful info. He even managed to get us a table at the local pub, The White Horse. It was packed, but the service and food were excellent. He also recommended a walk up to the Kymin, which was fantastic - what a view. Pete also gave us the most generous welcome basket of goodies we’ve ever had!! All in all, the perfect, peaceful, pad in a great location to get anywhere in the Wye valley, Forest of Dean or wider Monmouthshire. And Pete!

We loved the cottage ,so clean and comfortable and the garden/stream /swing and animals were a real hit with the children. We were made to feel very welcome -homemade cake ,lovely coffee ,bread and eggs ,such a nice touch with Easter eggs for the kids . Thank you Tracey and Dave .

This is a special cottage in a special location. We really enjoyed staying here; it was very peaceful and in a beautiful setting, perfect for getting away from it all. There was plenty of space for us to spread out and do different things. The games room and the cinema barn were a real bonus for our teenagers. The cosy sitting rooms were lovely in the evening to either watch T.V. or do jigsaw puzzles. There are lovely hills to climb with plenty of views. The dog was happy playing ball in the enclosed garden. A few cheeky sheep managed to squeeze their way into the garden from the field behind, but were soon barricaded out again! The beds were comfy and the cottage is so quiet and dark at night, we slept really well - good for star gazing. It isn't far to the sea by main road or over the mountains. We didn't want to leave - we'll definitely be back. Thanks so much!

From entering the tree lined driveway to arriving and seeing the view from the property, we were delighted with our choice. The interior didn't disappoint - very welcoming, well laid out and clean. The kitchen was well equipped, bathrooms clean and plenty of hot water for showering. Very peaceful location. Our host was very quick to answer any queries. Great to find some laminated maps/instructions for walks in the immediate area.

The bungalow is clean, comfortable and provided all that we needed for a short Easter break. The living area was equipped with all the basics, as well as with free Wi-fi and Netflix, although no other channels were available. The tv was small (32"), especially when seated on the sofa or armchair. During our three night stay, the local Forest School and Oakraven Centre had children attending courses, so there was something of a mini 'Rush hour' in the morning and evening. It was not a problem but required wariness for walkers and opposing traffic in a single track road. The woodland walks locally are good and plentiful, Lorraine providing good guidelines to other attractions and trails. A beautiful area.

The cottage was lovely and clean with extra special touches (like tea, milk, homemade cake, etc…) that made us feel very welcome and at home. Great location for the forest and being able to borrow the bikes was a perk. Lots of information with maps etc that was very useful. Would definitely recommend and stay here again. We had such a lovely stay here! The place was really pretty and peaceful—perfect for a quiet getaway. It felt really secluded and private, surrounded by beautiful countryside and farm animals, which made it feel extra special. There was also a lovely walk to a nearby pub, which was a great bonus. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a relaxing escape in nature!

Extremely well serviced upon arrival , milk ,breakfast cereal ,lots of bathroom products and cleaners for kitchen surfaces , was given exact directions being a 15 min walk to local pub the property gives easy access to Cardiff and points of interest locally also within a couple of hours to the Cotswolds and Wye valley .

Lovely place to stay in a beautiful location. Cottage was clean and cosy, really appreciated the welcoming food left for us, brownies were great! Surrounding area was great to explore. Friendly host, loved our stay and would definitely return again. Thanks!

If you are looking for a remote place to reset from the world this is the place ! The most stunningly beautiful place surrounded by sheep and hills , we spent hours sat in the sunny conservatory watching the birds eatting - it’s blissful 🫶. The cottage has everything you need to have a wonderful cosy stay and Jon is a super helpful host - it was a Little slice of heaven at Little pudding cottage and we will most definitely be back to enjoy it again in the future . If there is a clear night you can literally see every single star in the sky it’s breathtaking . We walked a lot with the dogs over the fields , if you go off piste there is a fair amount of boggy areas and we found lots of ticks on the dogs when we came back so just be aware that April onwards is tick season so double check your furry friends to make sure they stay happy too ☺️ Thanks Jon for letting us enjoy your beautiful cottage- we have truly loved every second of it ❤️

Firstly, we both want to thank Oeter for allowing us to stay in such a beautiful cottage. It was clean, cosy, quiet, homely...just everything as was described! Everything to the last detail was thought out, including walking routes, local restuarants and pubs there is an entire wall of leaflets as soon as you enter the property of everything that area of south wales has to offer so you really are spoilt for choice. The property was clean and imaculate and with everything you needed, such a stunning place to stay! If you are looking for a quiet retreat for a few days look no further! 10/10 will deffo be coming back! Thank you again for such a lovely stay! Martin & Cara

Loved our bank holiday weekend stay. 2 adults, 3 kids and a dog. Serena was very accommodating and welcoming. Offered some great places to visit when we arrived. The accommodation was perfect and spacious. Very well equipped and clean throughout. Lots of nice homely touches throughout. The garden was nice and big for the dog to run around in. Nice big grass area for the kids to play in. There was a BBQ and firepit in the garden which we made good use of. The kids loved the friendly horses in the field next to us and the area was very peaceful with some lovely views. We visited the bell pub for food on the Friday which was brilliant, highly recommended. Also the secret garden for Sunday dinner, also very good and had a huge garden and lots of outside seating. We visited Hereford to have a walk round the shops. Oakchurch Farm shop (ice cream was incredible) and Queenswood country park are well worth a visit also.
