If you want to indulge in a peaceful little holiday in the sun with just your family or friends, surrounded by a lovely secluded garden and beautifully simple Maroccan architecture and interior, Lara‘s place is your place. Lara is a gracious host who went to great lengths to make us feel welcome and all language barriers disappear. Ahmed and his wife cared for us with gentle patience and their wonderful food the entire week, we lacked for nothing. The neighbourhood felt safe, all neighbours we met were extremely friendly and there is surely plenty to discover in the surrounding villages and within driving distance (although I must confess we could hardly be bothered to leave our little paradise Riad:). Finally, though it might not be immediately obvious, I found the Riad to be a perfect place for a relaxed holiday with small children (ours are 1,5 and 3). They could be left to roam relatively freely within the safe limits of the Riad which almost felt like a little village.

We had a very relaxed time staying at Danielle’s. The accommodation was spacious with a lovely patio. The apartment is part of a small guesthouse so you can eat breakfast and dinner on the premises which we highly recommend. Danielle organised a local guide for us to walk into the Atlas Mountains to a Berber Village. Said the guide was excellent and informative and the 18km walk well worth it. We stayed for 4 nights which allowed us all to completely relax after a week of travelling but we’d recommend investigating other activities around the surrounding area if you want to be busy as it is quiet. The only downside was the shower which was a little poor but otherwise a lovely stay. We would definitely return. Danielle organised a taxi for us on our departure to take us straight to Essaouira (4 hours). Many thanks

Highly recommend this Airbnb! As soon as we drove in, we were instantly drawn to the stunning scenery surrounding the house. The yard features a beautifully arranged garden and a camping area—just like in the photos. Sitting there and enjoying the desert view was amazing. The host, Yass, was incredibly thoughtful. After we arrived, he gave us a tour of the three bedrooms and two bathrooms. I was surprised to find so many unexpected essentials in the bathrooms, like medical supplies, a sewing kit, and brand-new combs. Yass lives just a 5-minute drive away, and we asked him for help with the kitchen stove in the morning—he was super nice!

Cadre idyllique, très calme, très propre, personnel très serviable et d’une gentillesse ! Je n’ai absolument rien de négatif à dire. N’hésitez pas à réserver, vous ne serez pas déçu 😁

Die Unterkunft ist wirklich ausgesprochen schön und man fühlt sich direkt sehr wohl. Die ganze Anlage ist sehr schön gestaltet. Besonders schön ist, dass der Pool und der Garten blickdicht ist und man so seine Privatsphäre genießen kann. Tayeb war sehr hilfsbereit und war immer da. Außerdem gibt es einen Essenservice bei dem man essen bestellen kann, welches einem geliefert wird. das war auch sehr sehr lecker! Ich kann die Unterkunft empfehlen und komme sicherlich wieder. Danke für Alles!
