Ravenshoe Home - Room with a View

The property is an old Queenslander situated on beautiful Vine Creek. The room has lots of natural light and a comfortable double bed . You will have full access to the kitchen (for self catering), a shared bathroom and a number of outdoor decks for whiling away your day. Meals can be arranged on request at an additional cost. There is also a barbecue available for your use. This is the perfect spot for escaping the heat of the coast. We have two dogs Molly and Bill & 4 free range chickens.

The cottage is on a ten acre property surrounded by nature in every direction. The cottage is spacious with unique features like an outdoor bath and a lovely rainforest driveway. Part of a secure 1 hectare (2 acres) estate, the cottage is 200m from the main historic homestead. There is plenty to do here, including museums, bush walking and pack donkey treks, day trips to some real outback towns and other attractions, all only 1.5 hours' drive from Cairns International Airport. Charming partially renovated Low set queenlander to share with a 1 female a cat ,chickens and a young active inside dog. Quiet street and walking distance to cafes, coffee shops, pubs and shops. Walking distance to a local waterfall where you can swim. My place is hour and half to Cairns and Cairns airport. 15 mins from Atherton and 12 minutes Yungaburra in the car. Many beautiful walks and swimming holes near by.
