Had a lovely stay in the cottage. You are really out in the middle of nowhere, it is quite peaceful and quiet. Beautiful views around and the stars at night were spectacular. The included game drive was great! We saw giraffes, springbok, wildebeast and some antelope on the drive. We also saw zebras while driving on our way out. The bathtub was massive. Nice towels and robes as well. We used the pizza oven and braai and enjoyed the semi catered package. Note - there were a fair amount of flies in and around the cottage and they were quite annoying but bugs were expected with the remote location. I recommend taking a SUV vs a car when driving there.

We had an amazing 2 days here. Very peaceful! Would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting to get away from the city. The cabin is comfy and has all you need for a relaxed timeout.

We loved our stay at Montevue. The place feels very remote and as though you have the farm to yourself. We enjoyed walks around on some of the trails and then did a couple of pit stops in Montagu as well. Wood fired hot tub is a treat and the sunsets and stargazing are amazing (at least when it’s not cloudy). Definitely an incredible experience.

Absolute Bliss! We spent 3 nights at this romantic farm cabin just outside Montagu, and it was everything we hoped for. Peaceful, private, and beautifully set up — with a hot tub, outdoor braai, a dreamy outdoor shower, and a huge bath inside. Our two dogs had the best time exploring, and we loved the self-check-in and warm hospitality from Danielle Keller. Perfect spot to unwind and reconnect. We'll definitely be back!

What a beautiful setting to getaway, enjoy the silence, listen to the birds and just relax & reset. Sitting in hottub watching the stars at night was bliss Perfect reset and we will definitely be back!

Very friendly homestay with amazing views. Peaceful and quiet with a lovely big yard. It is surrounded by a picturesque countryside with beautiful views across the valley.Location was beautiful and there was lots to do nearby. We were able to contact Amelia and Jacques easily and they were very helpful; from restaurant & activity recommendations to use of the cottage amenities. We had plenty of room for two adults; two kids & two infants. Just what we need to get away from the hustle & bustle of city life.A very beautiful & spacious cabin; we will certainly be going back as there is so much more activities and wine farms we left without visiting.

One of the most amazing places. My boyfriend and I stayed there for two nights and it definitely wasn't long enough! The home itself was very substantial and had everything needed. It was situated in one of the most beautiful places with a dam and lovely wildlife. A lovely place for a break away. Would definitely go back again!

A beautiful, off the beaten track stay and very flexible check in and out which made for a relaxing stay.

Great stay , amazing place in nature. Loved the fact that we could be “noisy” and ourselves. We even had the pleasure of seeing a bokkie/kid eating berries infront of the house! Would be even more amazing if they add a hot tub. All in all it was so worth the drive from CPT

Such a beautiful space, living next to the river, the sounds of birds in the morning, being able to pull open the sides of the cabin to really feel in nature. And a little canoe down the breede river was incredible. All round a very relaxing little getaway. Excited to come back!

Stunning in so many ways. A mini majestic waterfall, a beautiful dam with incredible views and awesome floating, awesome hot tub. And even a cave we didn’t manage to visit this time. Lovely experience with the best host possible.

Lovely cottage with unique decor and great outdoor areas - splash pool, stoep and braai area. The serenity is unparalleled - as are the stars! Highly recommended.

Expect to be in awe from the moment you start driving up to the cutest cabin. The views are beyond words and the cabin was so amazing. The photos don't do the cabin justice. It is so clean, well equipped and has absolutely everything that you need. We considered going back down to explore the town of Robertson but then decided against it as we were loving the peace and tranquility. Jackie was amazing from the get go and being so accommodating with change of plans. Thank you for the best weekend.

Such a beautiful place, Dorita is a legend. Loved the hikes and the beautiful sunset views. MAKE SURE YOU LOCK THE HOUSE AND CLOSE THE WINDOWS… or you will be baboon raided, we learned the hard way.
