Swakopmund: soggiorni in alloggi sull'acqua

Our favorite Swakopmund stay. Such a cozy home with wonderful beach access. WiFi this time was really slow and I’d recommend that guest get informed that the gardener shows up on the morning.

Our stay at Fritz and Mareza’s Airbnb was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and right at home. The hosts greeted us personally and even left a thoughtful welcome gift of wine and chocolates—such a lovely touch! The space itself was immaculate, cozy, and full of thoughtful details. The super plush bed was incredibly comfortable, and we loved relaxing on the all-recliner couches—perfect after a day of exploring. The fireplace added a warm, inviting ambiance, and the well-equipped kitchen made it easy to prepare meals. One of the highlights was the garage parking (a huge plus!) and the pockets of ocean views that offered stunning glimpses of the sunset. Fritz and Mareza went above and beyond by lending us their bikes—Fritz even set them up for us, which made riding around the neighborhood a breeze. Everything about this stay was clean, homey, and well-considered. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would happily return. Highly recommend!

We had the most amazing stay at Elsa’s place. The house is extremely clean and very spacious which suited our needs perfectly. Location is perfect. We were spoilt with the luxury of being right on the beach and we had the opportunity to watch many breathtaking sunset views while on the terrace on all 3 floors. The host is polite and very easy to reach and communicate with which made our stay pleasant. There was more than enough clean linen and detergents were provided so we could clean-up after ourselves which was a big help. Appliances are new and plenty, we really felt as if we were on holiday but in a home away from home thanks to the comfort and convenience. We will definitely be back. El departamento es amplio, cómodo y con una ubicación increíble frente a la playa!!! Disfrutamos mucho las vistas del mar tanto desde el living como tomando un café en la terraza. Muy fácil acceso, en un espacio muy seguro.

Eugene’s place is perfect for exploring Swakopmund. It is two blocks from the ocean with a cafe nearby, grocery store and the main part of town all walkable. The apartment is good-sized with two bedrooms, large kitchen with all the amenities you could want and living room. Very comfortable and secure. Eugene was so easy to communicate with and gave lots of good advice on things to do and places to eat. There are several hotels nearby that are comparable or cheaper in price but we liked the big living space and the washer / dryer to do laundry. Perfect when you have been on the road for awhile!

This were our second time staying here and again it was just great. I love this place so much that I would buy it. The open plan design is just awsome. As a Family we love the place. Thanks again for a lovely stay. Regards Johan

Kirsten, was a great host! Check-in was simple and the house was immaculate. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, and utensils. There was a washer and dryer in the unit, and best of all, the property had an amazing view of the Ocean! This was a great find and a no-brainer if you are looking for a nice place to stay when visiting Swakop and Walvis Bay.

The Beach House was amazing. The space is limited, and it would have been useful to have a sink in the kitchenette (and perhaps plastic bags to line the rubbish bin) but apart from that, everything was perfect! Best location in town, everything worked and we loved it!!!
