Watch and pet our friendly animals from the cottage and experience some of the best star gazing in New Zealand from our beautiful hot tub. During your stay we offer a free animal tour of 1 hour, whereby you will visit some of our friendly animals incl bottle feeding our pet lambs (Aug-Dec), an Alpaca walk 🦙, and our friendly horses, cats, dogs and chickens 🥰

The cottage accomodation is totally private set in a beautiful garden setting in the grounds of the historic school house built in 1876. 20 minutes to Methven and 1 hour to Christchurch international Airport. Not suitable for infants/children.

Relax in the best of rural Mackenzie country with the whole family at our peaceful holiday home. We are less than 5min from Lake Opuha, and you could be at 3 ski fields within an hour!!! Approx 40 minutes from Tekapo , 1 hour from Timaru and 30 minutes from Geraldine, and approx 2 1/2 hours to Christchurch. Situated on the sunny corner of a working dairy farm you’ll enjoy mountain views and peaceful starry nights. Plenty of room for the family with a large lawn and fully fenced section.

The space is ideally suited for two, but we’re happy to accommodate a third guest using the sofa bed in the living room. Just a 5-minute walk from the Church of the Good Shepherd and a 10-minute walk to the village centre. Free car park for guests.

Use the apartment as a launch pad to local activities in Peel Forest (horse treks and bush walks), Lake Tekapo (ice skating, snow tubing, day spa and hot pools), Mt Cook (beautiful scenic walks and helicopter rides), or just a place to relax and escape from the hustle and bustle of town. We are a working farm running cattle, chickens and 1 dog.
