The Cottage for Two

The Cottage was built in the late 1930's for a local church and was used as a Sunday school room, for receptions, etc.. In 2004 we relocated the Hut, as it was once called, to this site and restored it to it's existing condition, staying with it's late 30's roots. It and main house sets on 5 beautifully landscaped acres and is located only 7 minutes from historic downtown Summerville. Please note that this is NOT INTENDED AS A VENUE and is a SHARED POOL, not exclusive to the pool house guest.

We are able to bring a single mattress out to the apartment for guests bringing a child, so the apartment can accommodate up to three (two adults and a child). Quaint Cottage Studio in Ashley Forest (Avondale).

This property is a midterm rental intended for traveling nurses, medical professionals, academics, etc. We are a small family with a dog and two young kids. The studio is in a safe, charming, and quiet location 10 minutes from downtown, MUSC, and CofC. You will have access to our outdoor living space and dining area, as well as a parking spot in our driveway. The studio is fully furnished with a small refrigerator, microwave, hot plate, and cookware.

We lived in this space before we moved into the main house, so we can attest to it being comfortable, and well maintained.
