Wonderful property that is secluded but also has lots of space. The fire pit and hot tub were great for spending time outside, and it's super close to the national park.

I can’t say enough about how wonderful this property is. Everything was so well thought out. The heated floors, the hot tub, the chocolate chip cookies, the screened in deck, the giant windows, the towel warmer, the duel shower heads, and even dog toys and bed were above and beyond. This cabin made our entire stay. After hiking all day, it was the perfect place to relax. This is the perfect place for outdoorsy people who also enjoy luxury. We saw deer and I’m pretty sure we heard coyotes very close the last night, but only 15 minutes from the main route and restaurants. This was a wonderful place to allow us to bring our pups with us, and they were so worn out the entire day traveling home.

The cabin was very clean and comfortably fit the four of us! I was pleasantly surprised when showing up because it was much nicer than the pics showed! We will be back and are super thankful for the memory my family has of our time there!

We really enjoyed our stay at Tina’s cabin! It was perfect for relaxing after a long day of hiking. The cabin is secluded and in a private wooded setting, it’s very rustic on the outside but updated on the inside without losing the rustic charm. We really enjoyed stargazing in the hot tub and listening to the birds and cows while having our morning coffee on the porch. The cabin is stocked with dishes and cookware, spices, a microwave, toaster, oven and a grill. We only had to buy coffee! We didn’t do any cooking, but used the coffee pot and microwave. I couldn’t get the toaster to work, but it could’ve been user error. We also couldn’t get the bedroom tv to work, but no big deal! The cabin and hot tub were very clean and the bed was comfortable. It was the perfect getaway with our 2 furbabies. The most important thing to note is the door will automatically lock when you shut it, make sure you have the code so you don’t get locked out! We would definitely stay here again!!

Beautiful addition to our trip….very clean and perfect for what we wanted

The staff at Ace adventure resort were incredibly kind and helpful. The check in process was easy. This property accurately matches the description and pictures listed on airbnb. Keep in mind that you will be relatively close to other cabins so it is not quite as secluded as one might expect. They do add an additional fee for pets. I felt like the price was kind of high for it being off season and after all the additional fees I am not sure that it was worth it.

This cabin was perfect for my sister and I. It backs up to the most beautiful line of trees in the forest. The kitchen includes all plates and cutlery as well as a really cute mini coffee bar that they've built! (You'll notice the similarly built, gorgeous fireplace as well.) The coffee bar includes coffee from Dunkin' Donuts, Folgers as well as a hot chocolate with a selection of Torani syrups. There's a small Welcome binder in the kitchen that explains the history of the cabin as well as things like how to use the air conditioner, which we found helpful. Towels and toilet paper are provided in the bathroom (which has a heated toilet seat!). There is a small "Campfire Comforts" shelf near the front door that is stocked with things to make s'mores by the small fire pit outside. Small blankets, skewers and even bug spray were provided too! This cabin was immaculately cleaned and very well-kept. I highly recommend it and Lorrie is a superb host.

We enjoyed our stay at Steve’s place on the river. We were traveling with our dogs and loved that we were able to stay comfortably with them. Our lab loved the easy access to the river! I would caution you not to use Waze for directions when leaving New River Gorge NP as the route that it provided was convoluted and a bit daunting in the dark. This was no fault of the host and Steve provided great info regarding the road to turn on as well as check in process. It was a wonderful peaceful way to spend Thanksgiving and we would stay again if ever in the area!

Leanna is warm and responsive. What you see is exactly what you get! A well-taken care of piece of property that is fully equipped, clean, and spacious. It is clear that a great deal of pride and thoughtful design has gone into this property and it was an absolutely peaceful and perfectly pristine stay. The only (and I do mean only) thing that could improve your stay would be having a washer and dryer on site. This place truly lives up to the name “Almost Heaven”.

We stayed at the Whitetail Cabin at Pipestem Place. The host was very welcoming, and the cabin was well-stocked with everything we could want for a weekend getaway. The scenery was beautiful and private and the cabin was well-designed and peaceful. The location is also very convenient for visiting various parks in the Pipestem, Bluestone, and New River regions, and the town of Hinton.

Our second stay at The Black Bear Lodge! Spacious and inviting, with plenty of space for a family gathering. Good kitchen that you can cook for a crowd in. Feels like you’re in a very secluded spot, but only 30 min drive to good groceries and other stores in Princeton. Hope to stay again!

Brooke was quick to respond, easy check in . We booked last minute with no issues. Sam the property manager was great with suggestions for places to visit. This cabin is warm and cozy, perfect for a weekend getaway. Highly recommend staying here.

We LOVED this cabin! Felt right at home upon walking in. Greatest feeling ever especially after several hours of driving. Very clean, Matt and Kate were super responsive and they went out of their way to may sure we were comfortable. Plenty of space for my family to spend some uninterrupted time together with hikes in the surrounding area, a comfortable space to have a meal and play some games, and catch the sunset over the mountains on the porch. The dog loved his stay too! If you are looking for a cozy and relaxing cabin after a day of outdoor adventures, do not miss the chance to book this cabin!! Can't wait for the chance to come back.

I recently had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The home was incredibly clean and well-kept, making for a comfortable and pleasant experience. The surrounding area was beautiful and peaceful, waking up to the views from the cabin was an amazing experience. Rich was extremely friendly and went above and beyond to help us check in smoothly. They were also very responsive and helpful when we had a few questions during our stay. Overall, it was a great time, and I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a cozy and welcoming spot!

we had a great 2 night stay. it is near the road but so close to bluestone lake state park and Pipestem. we enjoyed our stay and loved that it was dog friendly.

Great stay great place. Lost power due to a town power outage first night. Host was very helpful and responsive. No issues.

We loved our stay out in West Virginia! It was so close to town and national and state parks! Incredible hiking, beautiful pull offs with insanely amazing views and awesome outdoor activities near by. Jennifer had a book of many activities and restaurants nearby which was extremely helpful. The location is beautiful and we even got a rare experience to see the Northern Lights. The deer are super friendly and will hangout right by you which was so incredible. The kitchen had all the utensils we needed and Jennifer was very responsive whenever we needed her. Overall it was an amazing experience and we will no doubt be going back!

Its a beautiful place specially for a log cabin camp. If you look for a wild camp its the perfect sopt. New River Gorge visitor centers are near by.

The place was very homey and inviting. It was Easter weekend and little treats were left out for us which was really nice. It was also decorated for Easter which was fun. The bathroom is tiny and the only mirror in the place is in the bathroom but we made it work. I’m really glad we found this place for the weekend.

I was absolutely amazed with this place! We had friends stay the night for a visit with our exchange student from Spain, on Friday. Saturday we had a few more friends come by to take photos and see our student before their senior year is over. We wanted to get together during this beautiful fall season! Your place is absolutely perfect. The home is actually better than we ever expected. The tub in the master bath was absolutely amazing! A added bonus we didn’t even know about. ♥️
