Sulawesi: soggiorni in B&B

Danke House is recently constructed and all rooms look brand new and are spotless. Most importantly, Linny and her family were unbelievably nice and helpful throughout our stay, making us feel like part of the family. They took us to the bus station to buy tickets to Ampana, toured us around Palu, helped us buy a sim card, and countless other nice things. If we come back to Palu we will stay here again for sure. The house is hard for a taxi to find, so I recommend arranging pick-up from the airport or bus station in advance with Linny.

Minahasa traditional style wooden house in Kinolow, just a short ride to Tomohon centre. Next to local buses. Vian and his family are awesome, super friendly, you will feel at home with them. They will give the best local tips and suggestions to discover all that Minahasa area can offer, cultural, gastronomic, nature, excursion... 100% recommended, I will repeat in my next visit to North Sulawesi, no doubt. We recently had the pleasure of staying at Ne' Pakku Manja Family home, and it was truly the highlight of our trip. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed like family and treated to an unforgettable experience. The accommodation is beautifully designed with every detail thoughtfully curated. The incredible shower made from an upturned coconut shell was a unique touch! Meyske's food was exceptional, with a wide variety of delicious and beautifully presented dishes. Every meal was a culinary delight. The private 2-day tour with Meyske was inspiring, emotional, and incredibly informative. Meyske's deep knowledge and passion for the local culture left us in awe. We learned so much. In conclusion, this stay exceeded all our expectations. The exceptional hospitality, stunning accommodation, and enriching tour made it an experience we will treasure forever. Highly recommended!

Meyskes place is wonderful. The space is so nice to relax and chat with other guests. The food they offer is very tasty with a big variety. The best about the place are the hosts, not only Meyske also her mother are such good persons who help you out with everything you need. Even tho Meyske was not around when I stayed there she called me to give me a very good overview about what to explore in that area. Highly recommend to visit!

We had a really nice stay, would definitely recommend it! We first booked one night in the treehouse, with was cozy and had an amazing view on mount Lokon. We liked the home, the host (family) and the location that much that we extended our stay with 2 more nights in the Rumah Ttorre Bedroom, with it's large windows and spacious room also very nice. The family was very inviting and took us on a trip to a pottery village. And are also willing to prepare for you a special meal with strange animals from the market of Tomohon: fruit mouse, snake,... Spicy, strange but really cool they did this for us.

Very nice stay in Tomohon. Felt welcome in the house and were treated so nicely! Nice places to eat nearby, and we walked into town no problem, or easy to catch a Grab. Fergie helped organise some transport for us as well as hints for other activities to do :) recommended!
