Mayfield Studio is a quiet, contemporary, spacious self-contained apartment in the picturesque village of Painswick in the heart of the Cotswolds. A perfect base from which to explore the surrounding hills and valleys. The famous Cotswold Way is on our doorstep and you can walk or hike from here or potter in the village where there are great cafes and pubs. Stroud with its Farmer’s market and The Woolpack at Slad are nearby as is Cheltenham for the races and Jazz, Literary and Music Festivals.

The Field Shelter

The Field Shelter is located on a working farm in the heart of the Cotswolds. Nestled amongst trees behind the yard you can sit and enjoy the a stunning view of the rolling fields, and if you are lucky you might catch a glimpse of the deer. In the summer you can enjoy watching horses and tractors in the fields below. There is an enclosed garden with a fire pit (subject to weather), table and chairs. There is a fridge, toaster and kettle, and tea, coffee and snacks left in the kitchen.

Charming guest house in stunning wooded valley

Our beautiful guest house is surrounded by stunning countryside - waiting to be walked or cycled. It sleeps two (but has a travel cot as well) with an open plan kitchen and cosy living area, plus bathroom with bath and shower. Outside is a sunny garden area with table and seating. The space is really light with lots of windows and oak features. Lots of thought and love have gone into decor to make it a really lovely space. The apartment is separate from the main house and very private.

Here In the beautiful Forest of Dean, we are so fortunate to have thousands of acres of forest nestled between the Wye Valley AONB and the Severn Estuary. It’s a special place with a rich history, scenic landscapes, friendly people and many outdoor pursuits. Forest View Cabin is perfectly placed for exploring. At the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, it’s a peaceful hillside location set in a half-acre garden at the Old Cottage. The log style cabin enjoys panoramic views of the woods and garden.

Just a few miles from J13 of the M5, we are in an area of outstanding natural beauty with access to open common land and ancient woodland, where mountains bikers, runners walkers and horse riders can all enjoy outdoor activities. The famous Cotswold Way runs close to the property.

The Game Larders

Wythall is a half-timbered manor house in a secluded and idyllic setting with garden, fresh water lake, wooded grounds and vineyards. You will enjoy peace and quiet here and see an abundance of wildlife. Wine tastings and vineyard tours are also available via appointment. The Game Larders is completely self contained and situated in the west wing of the manor house. It is well equipped and furnished, with access to ample parking space and central heating throughout. Pets are welcome.

Grist Mill - listed Cotswold mill at Owlpen (1728)

The Grist Mill is an early 18th-century watermill which sleeps up to 8 in four double bedrooms. This listed Grade 2 landmark building has been restored as a gem of a holiday home, with contemporary comfort and style, surmounted by lantern and cupola. Enjoy open plan living in traditional style on the ground floor, and as you head up through the house you'll find cosy bedrooms and old machinery still in place, a relic of times past.
