Halfmoon bay is a beautiful area, and this lovely family home has lots to offer. We enjoyed our stay and had lots of fun. We enjoyed our walks to the beach during the day and playing board games at nights. Highly recommended.

This beautiful bachelor suite was clean, bright, and homey feeling. Located in a quiet neighbourhood and only a short walk down the road to the ocean, this place was a wonderful place to come to enjoy peace and quiet

James was a great host! Their location is walking distance from loads of trails and the coast. We visited on a rainy weekend and found the space to be super cozy to hang out and play games and music (we enjoyed the novelty of the records and playing the accordion and guitar). When the rain cleared we went for a beautiful long hike just outside their door. They were super warm and welcoming hosts and we loved getting to chat when we crossed paths but still felt a sense of total privacy in the suite. Would absolutely recommend the suite for anyone making a trip out to the sunshine coast. It was perfect for a winter getaway and I imagine even better in the summer with loads to do.

Liz & Dean made it very easy to enjoy our time there. They were communicative & welcoming, & we still had lots of privacy. Surprisingly one of our fave days was the day spent home in the rain, the cottage was so cozy. The rest of the days were spent in the sunshine, wandering the island & at the beach. The internet was not reliable, so I should have made sure we downloaded shows/podcasts ahead of time but we had lots of books luckily. This is a great spot as a home base to explore Hornby & we are grateful they shared their property with us.

Had a nice time at Paul’s place! The space was perfect for a couple and has a great deck with a dining table, bbq and soft tub. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked. Loved that there was a dishwasher! Paul was very friendly and had two beautiful pups! Location is perfect for a day trip to Savary Island (close to the water taxi) and about a 15ish minute drive from Craig park (for disc golf!). We would stay here again! Thanks Paul!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Edward and Kira's. Shanti (the dog) is absolutely beautiful and a very gentle soul. The cottage is very well equipped with some of the best kitchen supplies we've encountered in our many travels. I loved the chat with Edward and Shanti, and the friendly welcoming attitude of all the neighbors we saw while walking our pup. The covered outdoor sitting area is a huge bonus when it's raining, as you can stay warm and dry while enjoying the fresh air! The shower pressure is great and the bathtub is huge. The place is even more lovely than the photographs, and we've already recommended it to my parents. Would not hesitate to return!

This is a little Oasis. We loved touring the gardens and saying hellos to the ducks and chickens. It was wonderful having three private rooms for our group. The local recommendations he provided were helpful. Make sure you order some of their baking and preserves while enjoying your stay. We were lucky enough to try their fare at the farmer’s market. Delicious!

My stay for a month exceeded expectations! Cozy and comfortable cottage near the Salish estuary and numerous forest walks nearby. Owner is very responsive, thoughtful, and made my stay all the more enjoyable. Would love to book this cottage again! Thank you Anne and Mike for sharing your cottage in this slice of paradise!

Janice and Bill's place, the Hi N Dri, was absolutely gorgeous and cozy. It was so thoughtfully stocked and beautifully decorated, with attention to every detail. Everything was immaculate. We had a wonderfully relaxing family getaway there, visiting the local beach every evening to watch the sunset. Janice and Bill were responsive and attentive, even putting our wet beach shoes onto a drying shelf for us while we were out!

Terra’s place was well equipped with the things you would need to prepare a meal. She thought of pretty much everything. She was very friendly, responsive and easy to contact. And the suite was nice and clean. There were a few things that we found needed some attention. Unless you prefer a softer bed, you may find the bed a bit too soft. The couch is in need of a deep clean. The door is a patio door and therefore does not lock from the outside. Other than those few things we found the Ugly House, to be a well designed and nicely styled suite. Overall we enjoyed our stay at Terra’s.

This was our second stay at Anastasia’s and we are so pleased we chose to come back. A gorgeous, comfortable, well appointed carriage house in a beautiful tranquil garden with the beach and forest near by — what more could you ask for! We spent a month here and we were sad to leave, the property, the hosts, and the space were all absolutely perfect and we couldn’t be more grateful to have stayed.

The place was great with everything we need and Melissa with her husband were very kind and responsive. Highly recommended :)

We stayed at Linda’s place after hiking the first portion of the SCT and it was the perfect respite! We looked forward to it for a long time on the trail and even still it exceeded our expectations (the shower was amazing!!). As a host, Linda went above and beyond for us and helped us coordinate our hiking logistics and let us do our laundry, which we SO appreciated. We would highly recommend her place for hikers and all visitors to Townsite :)

We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 days at Boulder Hill Guest Suite. This space is comfortable and well organized. It met our needs for cooking, laundry, relaxing. We plan to book again.

We had a wonderful stay! The place was spotless and extremely well-maintained. The living spaces are spacious, cozy and comfortable. When we had a small issue with the TV remote, Natasha’s husband fixed it promptly. Everything is in perfect condition. It’s clear that they put a lot of care into maintaining the space. One of the best Airbnbs I’ve stayed in. Thank you!

Wir haben 4 Nächte in der Wohnung von Maritte verbracht und diese Zeit sehr genossen. Die Wohnung bietet sehr viel Platz und ist perfekt ausgestattet. Die Aussicht auf die Bucht ist toll. Die Lage der Wohnung ist perfekt um die Gegend zu erkunden. Wir können die Wohnung und Maritte als Gastgeberin sehr empfehlen.

We loved our 4 day stay at Lisa’s! The apartment is roomy and very tastefully decorated. It had everything we needed, and was super clean. It was nice to sit at the kitchen table and enjoy a view of the ocean! We really enjoyed the easy access to the beach. Lisa checked with us regularly in case we needed. Our only regret was not planning a longer stay!

Great spot for a get away in Cumberland. Private space, well designed and the host was easy to communicate with. We will be back

Absolutely stunning spot, John & Darlene have created a Masterpiece with this magical place. Incredible vistas: panoramic sea & mountain views. I had 4 weeks of incredible storm watching, including the big bomb Cyclone. Power outages due to weather & some funky electricals which John is sorting, very powerful energy here. Both John & Darlene are kind & helpful when responding to any Q. or issues. I was soul guided to book this spot for healing retreat & went thru some powerful initiations here, deeply grateful for my growth & expansion in this sacred space. Highly recommend, it's truly a Unique Stunning Spot! Unforgettable, thank you John & Darlene, one of my favourite spots ever. Very Special Memories.

A great and beautiful place to spend a couple nights, to a couple years! The feel of the carriage house was homey and comfy, modern but classic. Hosts were very nice. Would certainly stay again. Thanks.

Mike and Dilla:s place was perfect for our adventure to Halfmoon Bay. It's a beautifully updated cabin with everything you could ask for. Spotless private setting with a welcoming vibe. We'll be back.
