The cottages at Thurranes are 43 square meters. Two bedrooms, each with a double bed and a sleeping loft that fits 2 adults. The house can accommodate 6 adults. Bed linen and towels are included in the price. The house is equipped with a kitchen, where you find a little stove, a sink, a microwave and refrigerator. The living room has a couch and a small TV set. A small bathroom with a shower. Hot water, central heating but no WiFi A private hot tub, chairs and a gas BBQ are on the deck.

Hrakhólar is a summerhouse (25M2) in Bjarnarfjordur, 25 km from Hólmavík. Excellent location for travelling to North/South Strandir or Westfjords. The house stands by the river that runs down the valley. It is a quiet place an excellent place to see the northern lights. There is also a private hot tub Swimming pool and geothermal hot tubs are located in Laugarhóll about 1 km from the house. Outside the house is a fire place. Good for quiet evening under the sky and aurora borealis.

Friendly Farmhouse Víðidalsá, room 21

A friendly old farmhouse built in 1926, that has been renovated. There are no animals anymore except Loppa the dog, but a horse rental is only a 2 minutes walk. A peaceful surrounding with a crystal clear salmon river (a fishing license needed) right by the house. Located in the countryside close only a 2-3 minutes drive from Hólmavík village, which has a brewery, an excellent geothermal pool, a supermarket and a couple of good restaurants.

Spectacular view over Steingrímsfjord and the island Grímsey. Lovely cottage close to Drangsnes. The cottage has two bedrooms, both have a double bed and a bunk bed over the bed. Six persons can stay in the cottage. Bathroom with a shower and washing machine. The kitchen is well equipped with stove, microwave, fridge/freezer and cutlery and tableware. The untouched nature and birdlife is amazing in this area.

A beautiful original Icelandic house out in the country side. An ideal location to explore the West fjords! The house has three bedrooms and a living room, a bathroom with shower and well equipped kitchen with dining area. The house is a family summerhouse, but was originally built by our grandfather and grandmother, who lived there for most of their lives.
