Mijn Huis | Cottage Hideaway

Our lovely garden cottage is hidden in the beautiful farm community of Jamestown, surrounded by mountains and just outside of Stellenbosch. The area is economically and racially mixed with old locals, creatives and even famous Stellenbosch restaurateur calling it home. It's a gem of a place and we love staying here! Our cottage is private, spacious and well kitted with power back up for the Wifi & lights. Only 5mins away from the nearby mall, restaurants, wine estates, markets and Techno Park.

Home has immediate access to walking trails and Vlakenberg hiking trail. All bedrooms have stunning views onto mountain ranges.

Within 5 minutes of stepping in through the door of the guest suite, it will feel as though you have left all stress and concerns behind, such is the magic of 227 Oceanview. Flora, fauna, and nature embrace the space, creating an ambiance of peace and tranquility. The sunsets and moonrises are magical, and on wind-freedays, the sea will take your breath away. The apartment has a fantastic location situated a mere 400m below UCT, it is ideal for visitors to UCT and Cape Town looking for a central location. Baxter theatre and Rustenberg Junior very close proximity. Private entrance, off street parking, the apartment has a sunny bedroom with two three-quarter beds, modern bathroom and a living room/ kitchen area, that makes for an extremely comfortable short or long stay. A short walk down to main road with various restaurants, shops, bus routes.

The Carved Rock-Entire studio

With it's contemporary design, rock-rustic features incorporated with stunning elevated views of the Fish Hoek area and modern amenities, the Carved rock provides a tranquil, earthy grounding sensation that brings about comfort and relaxation to all guests. Special thought had gone into the process of accommodating each guest for either business or leisure. This listing is located on a quiet secluded gravel road on a mountain and not ideal for those who demand fast conveniences.

Our studio flat is at the foot of Table Mountain close to hiking trails, 8km to the nearest beach and 4km from the City Centre. It is open plan, has a queen bed (182cm*152cm), a well-equipped kitchen, private garden, a private entrance, secure off-street parking, Wi-Fi, Netflix, and an alarm system. Guests may share our solar-heated swimming pool. (It currently has some peeling in the lining. It will be repaired over winter but is still clean and refreshing).

The Rigel Retreat is a relaxing getaway with amazing garden views which backs onto a nature reserve. The private open plan interior with an attached kitchenette. The space offers a patio. Situated on a hill, the views of the Helderberg basin are incredible. The guest suite is located in a safe, quiet neighbourhood with a park only a short walk down the road. Somerset West has a wide variety of sites to explore.
