The Candy Kitchen

Take a step back in time as you enter this authentic 1930's Soda Fountain located in downtown Greenup Village of the Porches situated on the Historic National Road. The Loomis Family immigrated from Greece and operated the Soda Fountain and Confectionary until the 1960's. It has since been transformed into a spacious and comfortable living area with the original Soda Fountain still intact, beautiful tin ceiling, and also includes a large kitchen, a separate shower room & powder room.

This stylish freshly remodeled house is perfect for the weekend getaway or a long-term stay. The home offers plenty of room for the whole family as well as pets. This home is situated on the river, offering a private setting with quick access to other amenities. It’s only 5 miles to I70, 3 miles to Indiana State University, 7 miles to Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, and 6 miles to Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College. It’s also just half a mile away from The Landing. The home features a full kitchen, a living room, two bedrooms, and two full bathrooms. There’s also upgraded WiFi and a 58-inch Smart TV with basic cable in the living room.

Waterfront Cabin•Boat Dock, Fireplace&Beach Access

The cabin sits in the trees along beautiful Lake Sara. The cabin offers a quiet place to relax and unwind. You can bring your kayaks, paddle boards or trailer your family boat along for some fun tubing and skiing on the lake. The dock allows for the boat to be left in the water till the end of your stay. The Marina, Pinky’s (waterfront restaurant), Rusty Reel (bar below Pinky’s ), Cardinal Golf Course, Lake Sara Campground and Lake Sara Beach are all a short walk from the cabin!

Wooden Shoe Haus Folk Victorian Families Breakfast

Free Continental breakfast. This 1880 Wooden Shoe Haus was built by owner & Wooden Shoe Maker Gerhard Deymann. It is a historic Folk Victorian home, fully furnished while keeping much of its historic charm. It has bikes, antique furniture, front porch, swing, grill, back patio, & yard. Private side & back parking. Includes all appliances, 10' ceilings, & 1' thick walls. 6 minutes to interstates 57, 70, Effingham, & dozens of restaurants. 1 block to downtown Teutopolis.

Mill Creek Farmhouse

Soon the boats will be cruising across Mill Creek Lake in search of catch of the day or enjoying some water-sports. While you are in the area make plans to stay at the Mill Creek Farmhouse. Enjoy an outdoor fire pit while having the entire house to yourself. A small quiet cottage off the beaten path, located only minutes from Newton Lake Fish and Wildlife Area. This is a great place for hunters, fishermen or just someone that wants to get away from the city. It has exactly what you need to enjoy a long weekend full of the great outdoors. Griff’s Knob

Check out this rustic tower! There is something unusual everywhere you will look. Each of the 4 floors are a different room. The views from the top are outstanding. Between the leaves changing, snow, and wildlife there is always something beautiful to see. This is a fun stay that is anything but ordinary.

Cabin by the Creek‼️🏡🎣🦌

This is a private, unique cabin that sits on 7 acres with plenty of room to roam. There is a small stocked pond that is great for fishing. Maintained walking trails around the property for easy exploring. Sit on the porch or around the firepit and watch the wildlife that frequent the area.
