Our family had a great time at this adorable cabin, we had three families who came from all different areas and this was the perfect spot for our families to spend quality time together! The husbands really enjoyed the fire pit and hanging out on the deck. The moms loved how spacious it was so the kids could run around and play together. The neighborhood is also very private so you don’t have to worry about cars passing through. Outside was beautiful, the scenery is so peaceful. There was plenty of privacy for each family on all 3 floors, we never felt on top of each other or crowded. The town Helen is about 16 minutes away and has a very unique look and feel to it. There were so many neat shops that sold souvenirs, candies, and fun experiences. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!

We enjoyed our stay at Krystal’s cabin. Very convenient distance to Helen, yet private and peaceful. Very comfortable bed and loved the fireplace and hot tub! We would def come back!

The host was incredibly kind and responsive, making the check-in process smooth and stress-free. The cabin itself was the perfect escape—quiet, surrounded by nature, and full of charm. Whether I was relaxing on the porch, enjoying the hot tub, or exploring nearby Helen, I felt completely at home. I’d absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway, and I’d love to come back again!

Very cozy cabin! Had all the necessary amenities and then some. Perfect location for all the hikes my family and I wanted to do and waterfalls we wanted to see. The BBQ and hot tub are a great addition that we used as well! Instructions were very clear and helpful on how to arrive, however *I highly recommend to arrive during the daytime since it gets very dark and the cabin may be hard to find* Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and were grateful to be able to bring our dog too!

Scott’s place was absolutely lovely, peaceful and comfortable. The location was exactly what we needed, allowing us to go on adventures but rest and relax. So thankful to have stumbled upon this gem. Things to note, the critter visits on the roof in the middle of the night and the sweet local neighborhood dog visits were fun. Thank you, Scott! We will be back again!

This was our 5th year in a row We sometimes do twice a year It’s breathtaking The cabin smells of wood, right in the middle of the woods. Epic scenery. Susan and Brian are amazing people They make you feel right at home. We were just there in April and have already booked my next trip this summer. Can’t wait

This was the perfect get away! We were able to take both our pups & enjoy the mountains for a few days. The cabin is adorable & spacious for its size. And you can never go wrong with a large deck & a hot tub! 10/10 recommend!!

I had one of the best weeks of my life in this cabin! Everything was perfect, exceeded my expectations for the week by far. I even extended my stay while there. I left my phone on DND the whole week (a first for me!!) and just truly enjoyed the beautiful surroundings and peaceful quiet. The cabin is secluded enough to feel perfectly removed from the hustle and bustle of life, but still close that you don’t need to go far out for anything. I can’t wait to come back.

Barefoot Retreat is a great little getaway. It is peaceful and relaxing and has pretty surroundings. The host was great. We will go back!

The place was Beautiful and relaxing. Owner response quickly. We thought it would be great in the summer, so we can use the dock area more. It was close enough to nearby town shopping. Easy access to Helen, Braisville etc..A wonderful place to spend a Great time with the family
