The Nook at Newalls- luxury shepherd’s hut

Nestled in the hills 5 minutes outside Kendal, the hut sits in its own private meadow, enjoying far reaching views of the fells. Choose to hunker down in the hut with a book, play board games and unplug from the rest of the world or use it as a base to explore Kendal and the beautiful Lake District National Park. Step inside and you'll find a snug and cosy retreat with King sized bed, log burner and underfloor heating. Outside, enjoy the dark skies from the patio and the private fire pit area.

The Gardner’s Shed is self-contained with access through our well kept garden. Lake View Lodge

Stay at the Lake View Lodge and wake up to fantastic views of Lake Windermere and its mountain backdrop every morning. The Lake View Lodge is a self-contained, wooden lodge with access to three acres of grounds and wild meadows attracting a wonderful array of wildlife including owls, red kites, deer, foxes and woodpeckers. Enjoy a large 45 square meter space with king sized bed, double sofa bed, shower room and kitchenette. Ideally suited for up to two adults and two children or three adults.

The Den - Scandinavian BBQ Cabin - Lake District

The Den is a unique space within the Lake District - a Scandinavian BBQ cabin. A large BBQ pit in the centre to sit around provides a cosy relaxing evening space, and a place to cook! WiFi, Fridge, Microwave, Kettle & Coffee Machine. Bedding provided. Recently upgraded bathroom facilities! Private shower, toilet and sink, exterior but right next to The Den. 8 minutes by car to Windermere, 5 minutes to Kendal. Easy access to a bus stop and cycle lane. Adults only. Sorry but no pets.

Directly from the door you can enjoy some of the best walks the Lake District has to offer. Staveley is a gateway to other towns and villages such as Kendal and Windermere via bus or train. Please note we allow a maximum of 4 guests including infants we only allow 1 small/medium dog per booking. (Dogs are not allowed upstairs or on the furniture)

Fell Cottage, Staveley

Fell Cottage sleeps four guests in two en-suite bedrooms and provides exceptionally high standard of pet friendly holiday accommodation in the Lake District National Park. Lovingly restored and furnished, Fell Cottage is less than a miles stroll from the centre of the bustling Lakeland village of Staveley in the South East of the National Park. Riverside Cottage is part of a historic 19th century terrace & affords views of Craggy Wood behind Staveley. The River Gowan runs directly outside and there are a variety of stunning walks from the front door. The cottage is conveniently just a stone's throw from a cosy pub with beer garden, a playground & all of Staveley's amenities which include a Spar, artisan bakery, gelato shop to list just a few. The cottage also has the benefit of having been recently updated throughout.

Country Cottage with Views 15m Walk to Pub

Ashes Cottage is a beautiful, bright, 17th century farm cottage with picture postcard views from every window. It is cosy, warm and full of modern amenities such as underfloor heating and a log burning stove. From the front door there are footpaths to Staveley village with its selection of pubs, cafes and shops. Only 15 minutes drive to Lake Windermere - it's a fantastic base to explore The Lake District. Afternoons on the patio watching the sheep are highly recommended!

The Shepherd's Hut, Kendal.

South facing, small, traditional Shepherd's hut with views, internal shower, compost toilet, log burner, electric heater, kitchen area. 2 mins by car to Kendal. Scenic walks over limestone Scars from the doorstep. Comfortable double bed, single bunk above with limited head space. Kendal is an attractive market town with an eclectic range of shops, cafes, restaurants. There is a designated parking space for one vehicle beside the hut Bikes can be secured in the log shelter.
