Stamford: soggiorni in cottage

Louise's place was perfect. Louise was so easy to communicate with, super responsive, kind, thoughtful and truly appreciated that she had the option of flexible dates (instead of so many sat to sat or sun to sun requirements in summer). The cottage was cozy, cute, spotless & well stocked. My teenage kids loved the hot tub (as it was a bit chilly in the evenings) and I loved the outdoor shower. We loved having the bikes to take rides around the Island and loved the location. Our only regret is that we didn't get to stay there longer! We will definitely try to stay at Old Snuggler again!

Great stay for us and our puppy. We wanted to try some trainings and let him run free, he did not want to leave!! The nature reserve across the street was a great hike, we enjoyed every second. Thank you!

Wonderful for a peaceful weekend away. The views were beautiful, the space was clean (with amazing climate control), and the hot tub area was very user friendly. I would definitely stay again! Highly recommend the short walk to Chaffinch Island Park to check out the tide pools.

The property was beautiful. We found the yard very peaceful with multiple areas to relax. Hot tub was perfect as was the lake. The interior was clean with plenty of interesting books and games. The projector room was a nice touch and added an extra piece of entertainment. Bathrooms and kitchen were clean and well stocked. Overall a great place and made for a relaxing weekend. Exactly what we were looking for.

Ivana and John are the most wonderful hosts! This was truly like staying at a family cottage and everything was just beautiful. John greeted us upon arrival and even had a bottle of wine for my husbands birthday! We loved staying here from the city because it was only a little over a hour to arrive and less than a hour to South Hampton where we had dinner. Also the little town is so so cute and we were able to walk over so quickly! We can’t wait to stay here again. Thank you again Ivana and John!

Lil Nauti was perfect for our family. The bedrooms were adequate, with very comfortable beds and plenty of pillows. The wardrobe space and drawers were great as we had a long stay with a lot of baggage! Jason has absolutely everything you could possibly want or need for a stay. The kitchen is really well equipped. Cute cottage and delightful private garden.

Tabitha's place was perfect for our group stay. Right in the middle of town and perfect for what we needed for the week!

Was the perfect little get away for us. And it was nice to find a place that accommodated the dogs so well. We appreciated being able to get to places easily but at the same time have a peaceful place to return to.

Tech savvy home. All the right plugs for our electronics. Heated bathroom floor a plus during cold weather. Upstairs bedroom had hanging space and dresser, but neither available in lower bedroom. Did have luggage rack in lower bedroom. Definitely a do again for me!

cannot recommend this cottage enough. aside from the fact that it's a hop, Skip and jump away from a beautiful swimmable lake, the property itself is gorgeous and perfect for dog people. we spent a night in the backyard with the fire, and another night inside stoking the indoor fireplace while we cook dinner and play board games. everything is as the host described, wylda is extremely proactive in her communication and pretty much read our minds in terms of what we would need and or want. she also decorated in the most beautiful way. it feels like a home, not some weird cookie cutter situation, it's clean and interesting and fun. I can't believe it's only an hour and a half away from Brooklyn.

Leah was an incredible host, but a bit nervous at first. Our stay was absolutely amazing, and our dogs felt right at home in their cozy cottage. It was such a cute and comfortable place, and we’re so glad we chose Leah as our host. She went above and beyond for us during our stay.

Saverio’s place was just as listed. We needed a place to stop and rest for the evening and his place is just what we needed!

My husband and I stayed at the cottage for 3 months and enjoyed our time very much. We were very happy from every perspective: The cottage had all the equipment we needed and wished for. We sometimes used the fireplace and loved the bed/couch. The cottage is perfect to rest and focus. We enjoyed to have so much nature around us. We took a walk in the close park with a lake almost every day. We liked to live at a small farm with dogs, chicken and goose. Debbie and Kirk were always there when we needed them and also made us internationals feel welcome. They explained and helped us proactively e.g. changed regional weather circumstances. We also regularly got eggs from the chicken what was always a nice surprise. Communication/ interactions were always easy and friendly. I recommended my work to plan future stays for assignments in this Airbnb. In our opinion it is better than a hotel: Very comfortable, cozy, close to nature and a special American experience. This is a great place to stay. It’s lovely and very conveniently located for the town of guilford and the beach. It’s like staying at a friend’s place, an extremely thoughtful friend who has considered what would make you feel comfortable and welcomed. This is our second stay here and it is one of our favorite air B&B experiences. Jeanne is so considerate and responsive, and has the house perfectly prepared. Stay here if you can.

My husband and I had a great stay. James and Rose are super helpful hosts. It’s a great place to relax and enjoy nature. Walking distance to a lovely park they recommended with tons of hiking trails and very quiet.

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. It was a perfect size for our family and our son had a great time playing in the yard and the playground right next door. Our hosts were super responsive the couple of times we needed something. We'll definitely be back!

Our visit was utilitarian. We needed accommodations for us, our grown children and grandchildren and a dog. But the site of the cottage, its charm, its comfort made us wish we were staying another week. James' thoughtfulness went beyond any other Airbnb hosts' that we've experienced. Everything we might need if we were staying 10 days was there, clean, labeled. Thank you, James.

I loved staying at Walter’s place! It was safe for my kids, a nice big back yard! The house was clean, the instructions were clear. Overall it made my stay nice, safe and comfortable! Thank you!

great place to stay that was only a few houses down from the beach. very convenient that there was a wagon to transport our things after getting off the ferry. also appreciated that beach chairs, beach towels, and bikes were provided. best of all was the outdoor shower though. would recommend and stay again.

This house is absolutely perfect. It's clean, charming, has everything you need. The beautiful back yard has plenty of space and good stuff for kids to play with. Also, it's about a 30 second walk to the beach... neighbors are out on their patch of beach but yours is yours to yourself. It's perfect. We cannot wait to come back.

Chrystal was super responsive to all our questions and needs, and gave us a warm welcome when we checked in on our first day. The lovely cottage was fully furnished and had everything our small family needed. The neighborhood was quiet, safe, and perfect for walks. Getting to downtown NYC across the G.W. Bridge only took about 20-30 minutes, very convenient. We made wonderful memories during our 9-day stay!

Super special place. Very peaceful. Beautiful surroundings. If you love nature and a charming location, this is the place. The host was also extremely responsive and the cottage had everything I needed for a three month stay! Highly recommend!
