St Leonards: soggiorni in cottage

We had a gorgeous few days at Florence's beach house over the school holidays. It was the perfect base for a friend and I to explore with the kids in tow. Somers is such a hidden gem and Florence's place is well positioned walking distance to the beach and the delightful Sommers General store - great coffee and all the gourmet provisions you need for your stay. Also very easy location to explore other Peninsula highlights such as the Hot Springs and Enchanted Adventure at Arthurs seat! The beach house was gorgeous t come home to- really nicely styled and big bush block and outdoor fire pit were an added bonus. Highly recommend and looking forward to our next trip!

Our hosts had thought of everything from the supply of dog bowls, pristine dog beds and everything else you'd need for your beloved dog. Our dog Ivy was right at home from the moment she arrived. Our family had a wonderful Easter; the room layout suited us with our two adult children and their partners. The outdoor eating space allowed us to socialise in what is effectively the second living space, and the outdoor spa was a real treat after a long day of beach walks and relaxing. All beds were incredibly comfortable, plentiful hot water for showers and an easy walking distance to the beach and Somers General Store.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Sea Salt BNB! The cozy atmosphere made us feel right at home. Our hosts were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed for a perfect getaway. The location was ideal for exploring the nearby beach and local attractions. We especially loved the charming decor and the little touches that made our stay extra special. We can’t wait to return for another relaxing escape!

We had a lovely stay! The host was very nice and always responded quickly to any questions we had, which made everything smooth and easy. The location is great—it's within a kid-friendly hotel, and we were able to access the hotel facilities, which was a big plus for our family. Everyone enjoyed the stay, and we'd definitely come back again. Highly recommend!

Nice place with great amenities. The hot tub was amazing. The fire place was perfect under the stars and the tent was a special touch. Inside the house, the rooms were spacious, the bed was comfy and they even provide some board games. There’s also a big driveway for the cars to park securely inside. It’s pet friendly and the check in was also flexible. The location is great for exploring as everything is a short drive away. Some considerations and feedback for improvements: - The internet was slow, I wasnt able to take calls properly for work - There is no dish washer, and you must wash the dishes by hand. - Inside the tent could use some minor touch ups Overall we enjoyed our stay and the place had lots to offer.

Stayed for long weekend to accompany client for respite. She loved everything about the place, as did I. Place was as described and looked even better in person. The pool/sauna/spa area were awesome and we made good use out of these amenities during our stay. Great little living/kitchen area and comfy bed upstairs, Very accessible and accommodating to clients needs. Neighbours were a little noisy, as it was the long weekend that was to be excepted but other than that it was a Relaxing little get away, hope to visit again soon.

Cosy and comfortable cottage. The kitchen is well equipped and has great views of Westernport Bay and Phillip Island. We had a lovely family weekend despite some rain and were able to make use of the games. And a fifteen minute walk to the beach when it did clear up. Thanks Madeleine for a great stay!

Amazing location, easy walk to the beach, close to both Cowes and the Penguin Parade. Exactly as described and host was very responsive.

A great spot just a short walk from the dog beach and the home is comfortable and a lovely spot to relax. Just note the property is not fully fenced if you are bringing a dog. Great communication and a lovely part of the world to holiday.

We LOVED our stay at Kay’s summer house. We got wonderful holiday vibes from the moment we stepped inside the cute cottage - and our pups loved the large fenced in backyard. The house was super clean and easily the most well appointed and equipped Airbnb so far!

I stayed here for one night and it was lovely. The views are absolutely amazing, the area is great, and the house is very comfortable with plenty of space. Annika met me at check in to show me round and was very friendly. Her dog, Mali, was also very friendly and well behaved when she came to say hello, staying outside the house. Would love to stay again if in the area, thank you Annika!

Great house to stay in a great location, would recommend

Had such a beautiful family get away for my birthday. Was so happy with the place, very quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed a picnic on the front lawn with the bean bags and my son explored the garden. Highly recommend. Rebecca was so helpful, responsive and able to assist with some additional requests we had, nothing was too hard it was perfect!

Wayne is a great host. The property is within the Barrabool Maze Estate. We had access to the entire estate whilst there and our son had a fantastic time doing the maze a few times. There's also a variety of birds and a playground and lots of other things to see. A great cafe with great service and yummy food. The house itself is filled with beautiful art, knick knacks and very spacious. Clean rooms, has everything you need for a weekend stay and felt very private. Not too far from Geelong or surrounding towns. Recommend if you're ever wanting to stay somewhere not too far from a city but wanting quiet & relaxing surroundings.

Lovely cottage, felt very homely and welcoming. Wonderful hosts who left us lots of Easter goodies! Would highly recommend staying here!

Everything we needed, comfortable bed and the couch was not low and hard to get out of. Delightful location on the balcony with Bellbirds and Fantails. Plenty of secure exploring area for our dog.

Silver leaf cottage is nestled in beautiful gardens . Bernadette is very conscious of allowing her guests privacy . We only met her as she was watering the garden early one evening when we returned from a day out . She was friendly but not inquisitive. The setting is very peaceful . The only sounds you will hear are birdsong and chirping crickets . The French inspired decor is very easy on the eye and the towels and bedding are luxurious. The Queen sized bed is extremely comfortable and the shower of the very effective rain shower type . The location meant we could easily travel to see friends in Portsea and go to the beach in Sorrento and McCrae . We dined at Paul Louey’s Chinese restaurant in Rye where the food was delicious and very reasonably priced .

Our family of four had such a lovely stay here. The cottage was even nicer than the pics, with lots of thoughtful touches. The pool and gardens are gorgeous, too, and host Caesar (the lab) took us on a walk through the grounds, past the cows and horses, olive trees and more. Kate and Evan were very welcoming and gave us clear instructions about everything. Location-wise, it was nice and central, with Port Arlington, Barwon Heads etc an easy drive away and we found lots of activities to keep the kids entertained. Thanks for having us!
