St. Catharines: soggiorni in boutique hotel

For the location, comfort, walkability, availability, utility and John's responsiveness, safe-accommodations and value/price...almost unbelievable & unbeatable! If you need a place to crash or you need to stay comfortably for some time (i.e. weeks) in Rochester, this is going to be one of, if not, your top option. For multiple people (more than two), it would be a little close quarters to stay more than a few days--like if you will have any others over or stopping by. For my purposes, being in town for two nights for a sporting event, John's place was 100% perfect! Gave me the feeling that my college dorm room (which I loved and re-requested multiple years) had been upgraded to a way better adult format! And with a very nice, immaculate bathroom, retro-design little refrigerator and everything I needed/wanted. Side note: Walk to Ugly Duck Coffee for the best in-town experience!! (Though there is good coffee & maker in the room.)

Great place to stay, responsive host. Made a request to extend my stay for a day and they were very accommodating. Highly recommended.

Cozy little place that was perfect for my one night in Rochester. Close to a lot of night life, I will need to plan ahead next time and explore!

We were in town for my daughter’s wedding. We rented the entire Inn and had plenty of room for our large family to spend time together. Had everything we needed to prepare meals while we were there. I would not hesitate to stay here again. We really appreciated being able to check in a little early too.

This was a great place to stay for our getaway. We visited the Badlands and Belfountain Conservation area both of which were close by. We wished we had planned to stay for longer as there are more beautiful conservation areas to see and also a sunflower farm. The Room (Badlands Suite) is on top of the General Store. It is a beautiful historic building. There was a window air conditioner in our room so we were very comfortable. The bed was great. The woman running the store downstairs was super friendly and helpful. There is a nice patio out back and chairs by the river for relaxing. We will come again for sure. Thank you Glen!

The area is beautiful, so I decided to plan a birthday celebration for my girlfriend! The place was amazing, clean and the decor was spot on. They had the bar area decorated for the Kentucky derby which we stayed and watched. I will definitely be coming back. Thanks April

We had a truly wonderful stay at this charming Airbnb in Wellington, Prince Edward County. The space was cozy, stylish, and thoughtfully put together—perfect for a relaxing getaway. Our host was incredibly welcoming and kind, making us feel right at home. Don’t miss Cliffside Cafe just below the suites—it's an absolute gem!

Cozy room in a great location next to bars, shops, and restaurants. It was really easy to drive to the local wineries and it was a quick drive to hiking spots too.

We had a fantastic 2 night stay at this beautiful b'n'b! From booking to the last day, Stu and his partner were so lovely, quick to respond, provided tons of local recommendations and hospitality was amazing! Everything is true to the pictures and the place is STUNNING. The room was great with AC unit & ceiling fan, lovely common areas, & a beautiful deck & garden with views out over the lake. We used the kayaks, peddle boat and paddleboard, we didnt need the bikes. Lounged dock-side & basically chilled the entire weekend which coming from DT Toronto was what the soul needed. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty - eggs, peameal bacon, croissants, fruit & yoghurt, juices and Tea, Starbucks coffee pods. We used the food delivery service Stu told us about, and Uber is subsidized by the city. Super easy & cheap to get to without a car & we enjoyed walking around the neighborhood/beaches. Bring some wine, watch the sunset and sunrise, and play on the lake. Honestly, we will 100% be back!

Lovely place, comfortable and stylish, love their environmental ethic! They accommodated my late check no problem.

This location was perfect for our visit to see our daughter at Geneseo! Clean, parking and the tavern onsite was very good.
