Great apartment. Had everything we needed. Lovely view out to sea. Great bathroom with powerful shower.

Lovely one night stay at Weavers Cottage. Stay was exactly as described and it being right on the beach was great for us as we visited with our dog, who enjoyed the early morning walk in particular. Peaceful location and all amenities as described. Nice touch that we had milk from Caron for a brew when we arrived. Good instructions were given from Caron and the cottage was lovely, warm and cosy inside. Should we ever be in that neck of the woods we wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Super Landschaft und unglaublicher Blick aus den Fenstern. Das Küchenfenster war unser Favorit....fischende Basstölpel waren das Highlight. Edinburgh ist eine tolle Stadt und der Küstenwanderweg ist genial. Superschnelle Kommunikation und sehr freundlich.

This was our second stay at the Lodge and everything was as good the second time around. A lovely setting, with views across to the sea, loads of space inside the property (which is very comfortable and well-presented) and great facilities too. It offers peace and quiet but is also just a short walk or drive from Carnoustie with its beach, shops, restaurants and (if you are travelling with kids) a great adventure playground. Brian and Matt were great hosts (again). We hope to be back again before long!

Seashell Cottage is a very special place ! Cannot wait for a return visit . Jennifer is a fantastic host always answers queries very quickly ! Beautiful card and welcome pack on arrival . Would thoroughly recommend this wee gem x

We enjoyed a wonderful weekend here. Very dog friendly and really felt like a home from home. Could listen and watch the sea all day with lots of walks and great places to eat nearby. First time I’ve used Airbnb and it was an easy experience. Hosts were great at answering questions and left clear instructions for access etc. Lovely home jn a gorgeous location

We had a wonderful stay in Cramond! As mentioned, the planes can be quite noisy but the hosts kindly left ear plugs which was very useful! The accommodation is stunning - the photos don’t do it justice! The beds were extremely comfortable and the shower was lovely. The kitchen was well equipped. Cramond itself is absolutely incredible - we had a gorgeous walk over to the island and my 4 year old enjoyed scooting along the sea front. We had a lovely time playing board games in the Cramond Inn too. The house is super-handy for visiting Edinburgh city and the surrounds. I couldn’t recommend it more :)

Lucy's flat by the sea in North Berwick was very comfortable and spacious. We liked the nearness to the beach (particularly my granddaughter) and the views to the Bass Rock from the sitting room. It was very well equipped and had everything we needed. There is plenty to do in North Berwick and it was only a short walk to the Seabird Centre and even shorter to the excellent local museum, which was a great place to visit on a wet day. We would particularly recommend the boat trip to Craigleith and the Bass Rock where we saw great numbers of gannets and rafts of puffins. There are some interesting shops in North Berwick's High Street with an old-fashioned sweety shop (much appreciated by my granddaughter), a high quality wool shop, and the inestimable Bostock Bakery for indulgent cinnamon buns and croissants. There are plenty of good restaurants too. Being without a car was fine, as all these attractions are just a short walk from Lucy's flat.

Perfect place to stay for a few days on a budget. About 10min walk from bus stops that led to the city, took about an hour to get into the city from here. Owners always got back with us quickly and were so kind. I reccommend staying here if you want more of a cozy stay away from the city!

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely caravan. It was spotlessly clean, well-equipped, and felt really cosy and welcoming. Everything was just as described, and we had a great time relaxing and enjoying the surroundings. Would happily return thank you for a lovely break!

A beautiful, warm and delightful holiday home. Few mins walk to the beach and on a lovely holiday park with great facilities for children and dogs. Amazingly stocked kitchen equipment and such comfy beds and bedding. Would highly recommend and look forward to coming back!

Maggie is an amazing host. We arrived to find groceries already waiting for us and a belated birthday gift for myself. Communication was easy and fast. Kids loved the bonus of the play station and the two ride-on bikes. Easy to catch bus 26 from just outside the park to go into Edinburgh. We loved that the location of the van was close enough to everything of the park but still in a quiet section.

I spent nearly four months in Wendy's accommodation. I had a great time there! The apartment itself offers great views, and the room is very comfortable. It is easily accessible by bus and has a good connection to the city centre and main University Campus, as well as being close to a big supermarket and the beach. Being on the outskirts of the city and by the sea, it made it very easy to find peace, walking along the beach or visiting my personal favourite place, Newhailes Estate. For those coming to study here: the bus connection to the University of Edinburgh's King's Buildings is not great, especially on the way back, and if you'll have to be there a lot I'd recommend getting a bicycle, which is about twice as fast. Wendy is a very friendly host, who is usually not home during the day but if you run into her and she has time she will be open for a chat - for example sharing stories or music. She loves baking, and might leave something she made in the fridge for you!

The house was nice and clean. There are lots of activities for children. The area is lovely and close to the supermarket. Mary is really responsive and provides clear instruction for the smooth check in. I will definitely book this place again if I come back to visit Scotland.

If you love the East neuk of Fife, or just being by the sea, or have a pet and want a pet-friendly break, or any combination of these - look no further!

It is a lovely warm and cosy apartment which we very much enjoyed to stay in with our two children (aged 7 and 8 years). I ran along the beach every morning before sunrise and returned refreshed and ready to go. We enjoyed breakfast together every morning in the picnic bench style nook in the kitchen. Living room gets a lot of light during the day and very cosy in the evenings. It is a first floor apartment accessed from the side of the building. A great choice for North Berwick.

We loved the location of the flat and the ability to sit outside. It was very comfortable and everything was provided to make our stay comfortable....and a few little extras. Ground floor and east access is important and met our needs. Gemma's communications were very friendly and helpful.We would recommend this wee place for a wee stay.

We had a fabulous stay - it was a superb location with wonderful views. Fiona had thought of everything to make our stay stress free - including washing up liquid and loo roll! The person/people upstairs were a tiny bit noisy in the mornings, but we were probably over sensitive having enjoyed the excellent music night at the pub.

Hazel’s place is a cosy homely spot in Portobello, close to all everything. It's a quick 40-minute bus ride to the heart of Edinburgh, which was super convenient. Hazel was always quick to reply and the place was peaceful, perfect for a good night's sleep.

Lovely, cosy cottage in a great location just off the High Street. Well equipped and lovely modern decor. Great for walking to local attractions and the other villages in the East Neuk.

Fiona’s cottage was the perfect home away from home for our stay near St. Andrew’s, for the week we were visiting and getting our daughter settled into the University. It was so lovely to be able to sit in the beautiful garden on sunny days or walk to the beach nearby. The kitchen was one of the most well stocked kitchens I’ve experienced in an Airbnb, and that was so helpful. We would definitely book again for our next visit!
