We loved it. Great place to stay if you’re visiting the caves, Root River, or anything else in the area. The apartment is spacious and quiet, and walkable to restaurants and the distillery. The bedding is comfortable and the there’s plenty of places to sit and hang out. Other towns are just short drive-and offer additional options. The apartment has an extensive library to sit and enjoy, and some family games and puzzles. Be aware that this apartment is up a fairly steep staircase.

We enjoyed our stay at Jaymi’s place. We have family in Rochester so we weren’t at the house a lot, just to sleep and take showers. It was perfect for my family of four plus my parents. There were enough beds and towels for all. When we arrived back home I was met with a message that seemed accusatory. Jaymi asked if we unplugged the WIFI and disabled the electric lock to the front door. We didn’t do either. No one ever connected to WiFi and we would never disable a lock on someone else’s home, or even know how to. When we would lock the front door while leaving there was a red flashing battery on the top, we did take notice of it because it was as if the battery was going dead, we even joked about it locking us out. I’m positive that was the issue, but was taken aback at the insinuation. Jaymi said that the internet provider was doing updates, but made no mention of the lock again. I want others to know that if you see an issue, communicate it, so you aren’t seen as the culprit.

A Heartfelt and Healing Getaway This home truly has everything you need for a perfect stay—but what made it unforgettable was how it made us feel. As a single mom of teenage boys, life can be a lot. This peaceful retreat gave us the space to reconnect, breathe, and just be. We spent time down at the river, laughed together, and watched my sons play like they were little again—it brought tears to my eyes. The home is spacious, cozy, and thoughtfully designed, with everything you could possibly need. The soaking tub was a dream, and the whole place felt like a warm hug. The host was unbelievably kind, helpful, and generous—going above and beyond in every way. This stay brought healing, joy, and peace back into our hearts, and I’ll be forever grateful. If you’re looking for more than just a place to stay, this is it. We can’t wait to return.

Linton Lodge exceeded our expectations. Peaceful. Quiet. Homey. My wife and I not only enjoyed the solitude, but were also able to experience nature. The Lodge's groomed yard, paths, and trails provided us the opportunity to observe the high level of bird activity and see several deer! The Lodge's deck provided a perfect view of the stars and moon without the light pollution of the city. Our host Susan played her role perfectly! The house was immaculately clean, properly stocked, and ready for occupancy when we arrived. Susan helped guide us with local arrangements and provided courtesies beyond Airbnb norms. As much as we enjoyed the Lodge during our early December visit, we hope to return during the spring and autumn to sample "nature at its best" during those seasons.

If I come to Arcadia again I will love to stay at her place again, very responsive and helpful. Very understanding and flexible had to add more nights and she was quick to reply :) definitely recommend staying here! Thanks Christine

Jason’s home was very comfortable and clean. We especially like the arrangement of the house having two bedrooms on the main floor and two bedrooms in the basement. The beds were very comfortable. It was about a 10 to 15 minute drive (depending on traffic) to Mayo which made it very convenient. The backyard was nice to have no homes behind it with a view of the trees. If we ever need to return to Rochester, we hope to stay here again.

We rented this property to host a bachelorette weekend. Usually, hearing a party as large as ours would scare hosts off. But Lena was so amazing, with not only an early check in, clean rooms, beautiful views but a home so perfect for our celebration. We truly felt as if we could enjoy ourselves, and that we were at home. She has an amazing response time, and is so helpful with any questions, or concerns, and had this unit so much more stocked for things we may need than I have ever seen. Overall, an amazing home and would absolutely stay here again.

We had a great stay here and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay in Blair. Really appreciated the high chair and crib loved that it was family friendly.
