Our almost century-old, 1,000+-square-foot getaway includes a kitchen, comfortable bedroom on the second floor, full bathroom and an adjacent open space with a trundle bed that sleeps two. 6-acre pond access with beach for relaxing, kayaking, or fishing!

Bison Farm - Cabin "Brisa"

Bison Farm cabin in a very secluded section toward the back side of a 300 acre working bison farm. This is a tiny home Park Model with 400 sq. ft. and a nice spacious covered deck providing an outdoor living room. The kitchen has a 2-burner induction cook-top, a convection oven that is also a microwave and a small refrigerator and freezer two drawer unit that has decent space but is not a full sized appliance. Note: bison rotate pastures daily. Please don't expect them in your cabin view.

The Tobacco Barn

A high-peaked ceiling and exposed-log crossbeams reveal the Tobacco Barn’s past life as a place for hanging tobacco leaves to dry. Now converted to a one-room guest house, it features a front porch swing, cozy fireplace, soapstone floors, a homey sitting area, and a tall, high-post bed. The pressed-tin ceiling and whiskey-barrel sink in the bathroom add to its charm. Pets are allowed and are charged a fee of $25 (first night) and $15 (per ea. add'l night). Maximum two-person occupancy.

Peaceful Secluded Old Rag Retreat

The spacious one bedroom yurt is located high on a forested hillside in the middle of 15+ acres. Come enjoy a natural and serene getaway with all the comforts of home- a full kitchen (ie, all utensils, setting for four), a bathroom with shower and laundry, a queen bedroom, and a queen foldout sofa in the living room by the wood burning stove. The windows roll up from the outside and have permanent screens inside. There is also a BBQ grill, a separate firepit, and WiFi via satellite.

Our area is rich in Civil War history with lots of great places to dine, shop, or catch a Fredericksburg National game at the ballpark. “Stay Awhile” is a spacious walk out basement apartment in our home, very clean, in a quiet neighborhood minutes from Old Town Fredericksburg, University of Mary Washington, Fredericksburg Convention Center, FredNats baseball stadium, restaurants, shopping, historical sights, battlefields & Heritage Trail along the Rappahannock River. We have a walk/run/bike trail in our neighborhood and a tandem bike you may borrow. Enjoy our 82” TV and WIFI. We are 1 hr from DC & Richmond
