Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. The SheShed has a million dollar view and is located 2 miles off the Blue Ridge Parkway. It is at a 3000 ft elevation with vast views of the mountains and valleys. A hiker’s dream location with several hiking trails in the surrounding area. When not hiking you can visit the many vineyards or take a trip to the nearby towns to enjoy local shops, music and dining. This cabin is designed for a couple to get away and get back to nature.

This jewel is a short drive to the iconic Main Street with Snappy Lunch, Floyd’s Barber Shop, & the Andy Griffith Museum. Nestled along the path of the “Surry County Wine Trail”, you’ll only be 1/4 mile from the tasting room at Serre Vineyards. Wake up to a custom timber frame ceiling and head down the handcrafted staircase to start your day. Gracies Bunkhouse Est. 1910. Step back in time.

Set on 2 acres out of 15 privately owned the bunkhouse will feel like yours. No wifi but great connection. Outdoor fire pit and indoor wood stove are sure to keep you entertained in both cold and warm weather. Newly added mini split will keep the chill off in winter and heat out in summer. Black bear, wild turkey, and deer are the only visitors you will have. Set atop a large waterfall the sound of the falls is audible throughout the property.

Grove Cabin 20 acres of privacy (no extra fees)

Nestled in a high mountain meadow just above the New River, this 750 square foot cabin has plenty of amenities and nearly 20 acres for your own private Idaho...there are marked and cleared hiking trails...look for the entrance post to the left "1285." NOTE: GPS systems are sending people to the coordinates of the cabin and not the entrance road. Always come in via NC-16--John Halsey-Weavers Ford-East Weavers Ford.
