The Heron Room on Bass Harbor

The Heron Room is named for the Great Blue Herons that visit our shore. Located on the second floor of our Boat House Cottage, it overlooks Bass Harbor facing the sunset. A workspace with mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker with seating, task lighting, and wifi is provided. Watch the tide change from the deck and the lobster boats heading out at first light. Bring your binoculars — the birding is wonderful — and your water shoes for brisk wading at high tide. This room accommodates two persons.

Cottage #11 is half of an updated nostalgic cottage with ocean view. King-size bed and full bathroom. When rented with Cottage #10, the rooms can be accessed through an adjoining door. Enjoy the pool or relax in the hot tub, and end your night with s'mores at the outdoor fire pits. Pop into the market for upscale pantry items for your kitchen, ice cream, or beverages. This cottage features a turntable and access to a lending library of 750+ vintage records.

Great Harbor Inn, Harbor View Room - Stanley

This third-floor suite in our charming Inn features ocean views, a king bed, queen sofa bed, private ensuite, and a cozy sitting area. Guests have access to a nonexclusive kitchen, dining room, and common areas, combining the comforts of home with the charm of a classic Maine getaway. Just a short walk to the harbor, downtown Southwest Harbor’s shops and restaurants, and the free Island Explorer bus with service to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park.

Cozy hotel rental at the Acadia Hotel-Downtown. Built in 1884 as a private home, located in the village Center. Private room with full bathroom, QUEEN size bed, cable tv, mini fridge, & wifi. Quite, clean, and the best price in town. These rooms tend to be on the smaller size, and do have SMALL bathrooms. If you are looking for a larger space, look for our Suite Airbnb listing, or book direct though the hotel.

This small, first floor waterfront room is in our historic Main House Inn, and has a large picture window facing the harbor and mountains of Mount Desert Island! Perfect for those who will be spending more time hiking and on the beach It has a queen bed with a private bathroom with tub/shower combination. No A/C, fans provided. Not pet friendly. *Complimenary Wine & Cheese night cancelled for 2021*
