On Strawberry Creek in Idyllwild's historic district, the Owl Pine Guest Cabin was built in 1922. It's the best of both worlds w/ plenty of nature (burbling creek, rock paths, trees, birds, mountain air, stars) + close to civilization (the property is near restaurants/shops). Native rock fireplace, hot tub, eclectic art, record collection/player, games, books, TV, Wifi, BBQ, fire pit hang deck. We have a chicken coop, happy to leave eggs at the cabin upon request. Escape to this recently refreshed midcentury cabin minutes from the village, slopes, trails and the lake, with all the high end amenities you need for a perfect mountain getaway. Start off with coffee on the front porch, watching squirrels and bunnies, spend the day swimming, skiing or hiking, come home and do some work on high speed wifi with an extra monitor before you grill, hit the hot tub, watch a movie on an extra deep couch, and crash onto a Heavenly mattress.
