A wonderfully comfortable quiet place for our family to stay in a great location, set back from the busy main road in the heart of the village. The accommodation is really comfortable and enabled us to have a rather jolly weekend of celebrations for a 95 year old! The stream to the side of the back garden was quite delightful to listen to when we had evening drinks on the sunny terrace. Thanks Robert

What a great find this was! Amazing cosy place to stay for me and my friends. Lots to do around the area. Walk around the reservoir and to the pub - The Ye Olde Mustard Pot was a perfect day out. Would highly recommend and will be looking at planning another visit back.

We stayed here for the weekend whilst seeing family. It’s a lovely place, very clean and comfortable and a great location. Supermarket just across the road, pubs nearby and an amazing Ice cream place just round the corner. Best communication I’ve had from a host to. Really proactive in the build up to the stay, and responded in seconds when we couldn’t find the hairdryer! (It’s always the last place you look! 😂) Highly recommend staying here and we will definitely be booking again.

A lovely stay with friends. The house is located in a lovely setting and was very nicely presented. Plenty of space for everyone with a flexible room set up. The weather was lovely which added to the overall charm.

Cozy terrace house, beautifully decorated, we felt right at home. Good soundproofing between bedrooms and didn’t hear the neighbours so nice and quiet. Note that the staircases are extremely steep up to the 1st floor (master bedroom and single bedroom) as well as spacious bedroom on the second floor. One bathroom with lots of hot water and a great bath and shower. Enclosed garden for our dog was great, thanks for the dog welcome bowls and treats ! Parking was on the street right outside.

We had a great stay in Castleton at Marianne’s air bnb. The cottage had everything we could possibly need and was decorated beautifully. Very convenient for getting to lots of local walk as well as for travelling to other areas of the Peak District. Marieanne was a great host and we would certainly visit again. The bed and furnishings were very comfortable and homely. The only minor issue I had is the cottage is on the main road which could be a bit noisy, if you are a light sleeper I would recommend taking ear plugs.

We were welcomed to the apartment by Jane and Howard. They were very friendly and easy to contact both before and during our stay. We found the apartment to be perfect for our needs. It was very clean and furnished to a high standard. It was lovely to have the peaceful garden view from the patio doors and from the kitchen. The apartment is located next to the beautiful Ecclesall Woods and only 15 minutes drive from the Peak District. Thank you for the generous welcome pack - it was much appreciated. We would highly recommend this apartment.

We loved our stay at Charlotte's place in the Peak District! The flat is a perfect size for a couple, it was very clean, homely and cozy with a beautiful garden at back of the house. The flat is situated right in the heart of Hope Valley which had plenty of beautiful walks nearby. Castleton is a beautiful town with plenty of pubs and things to do. Charlotte is a wonderful host, she was very welcoming and super helpful.

Lovely place to stay if you're visiting Castleton. Very quiet location with great parking. Shops and pubs within a few minutes walk, as well as Peak Cavern and the castle again, just a few minutes walk down the road. very clean and very comfortable bed!

What a lovely place to stay. The Bunker is much bigger and brighter than it looks in the photographs - a real home from home. Restaurants, pubs and amenities a few minutes away down the hill. We didn’t meet Diana while we were there but she kept in touch via messages. Just wish we’d booked for longer but hopefully will be back 😊
