Formerly the popular Bird's nest on Rosetta the accommodation has been modified and expanded to include a open plan lounge/kitchenette/dining space on the ground floor. The property has its own beach access so you can meander down a grassy path to a quiet beach spot away from the madding crowds to sip a glass of wine and watch a stunning sunset with a backdrop of Kapiti Island.

This one-bedroom seaside cottage is directly across the road from Paekakariki Beach and is the perfect location for those who enjoy beach walks, swims and surfing. The Escarpment track (Te Araroa trail), Whareroa Farm, surf club, and village cafes are all close by. The cottage's west-facing aspect provides great sun and incredible sunsets. The cottage is fully self-contained and has dedicated off-street parking. The owner's residence is on the same site, but both are separate and private.

Outside is a large luxury stone bath in a quiet private garden setting, and there are two areas with a table and chairs to enjoy the morning and afternoon sun. We have a two night minimum stay. We also offer a guaranteed late checkout of 2pm on the day you leave.... so you can sleep-in and relax.... there is no rush to go :-)

New purpose built studio. Clean, fresh and light, double glazing and insulation. Private with own entrance and off street parking. Popular Raumati Beach ( safe swimming, surf casting, water sports) is down a shared driveway one minute away. There is a small deck and sunny outdoor seating area. The studio is accessed up stairs so not suitable for guests with limited physical ability. Short walk to Raumati Village.
