Oulton Broad, has a variety of places to eat, a museum in the park and boat trips. Carlton Marshes is a stunning nature reserve and cafe. Lowestoft has a sandy beach with several cafes on the promenade. Southwold is a picturesque coastal town, a 25 minute drive away and Beccles, a beautiful market town on the banks of the river Waveney.

The Lodge at Lyng Mill

Peaceful, rustic and romantic lodge in the grounds of an 18th century mill house on the river Wensum at Lyng Mill, North Norfolk. Swim in the river or light the wood burner, get back to nature in this cosy romantic setting. The Lodge sits in a wooded area underneath a giant red cedar tree. It is also on the banks of the mill pond, a perfect wild swimming spot with its own outdoor shower. It is bright and airy in summer but warm and cosy in the winter months. We love dogs, all welcome.

Mustard Pot Cottage is a charming 18th century barn conversion. The property comprises luxurious accommodation with a pretty enclosed south-facing garden which overlooks a pond. If star gazing is your thing then we can promise you we are not affected by light pollution and if you’re lucky you’ll hear our resident owls too.
