There is also an open kitchen/living room area with a view of 4,000+ lavender plants. You will be surrounded by custom-picked imported Italian granite selections. We are a short drive to all the amenities of Newport and the Block Island Ferry is 5 minutes away. University of Rhode Island is 5 miles away.

The Shamrock House 1st floor apartment is walking distance to local restaurants, bike path and shopping. Beach pass for the town beach. Newport is a 30 minute scenic drive away. The space is equipped for long stays, with a dedicated work space, full kitchen, washer, dryer, and storage space. Walk to the bike path or URI campus (we are 1.4 miles from the center of campus). Under 5 miles to Amtrak, stores and restaurants; less than 10 miles to beautiful beaches.

Our newly renovated cottage provides an ocean view! We’re located within minutes of 3 local beaches, and within walking distance of the Block Island Ferry! A washer/dryer, full kitchen, outdoor shower, wifi, and BBQ grill are all fully available to guests during their stay. This is our second home! We are confident that you’ll find the necessary amenities to stay comfortable! Although children are welcome, we would not recommend our cottage to a family with small children.

This cozy space is very private, comfortable and newly appointed. It is a finished basement in our home so it is owner occupied but it offers a separate exterior entrance so our guests can decide if they’d like to meet us or not. We are approximately a mile from the Narragansett town beach, a stones throw from the bike path and public tennis and bocce courts and walking distance to town, restaurants and shops. Newport is just a 20 minute drive. So come be our guest!
