South Haven: soggiorni in B&B

Our hosts Arlene and Tom are warm and welcoming and made us feel at home. The homemade breakfast was phenomenal and we had great and warm conversations over breakfast. The home is very clean and beds are comfortable. The central a/c is good. Peaceful surroundings and a short drive to downtown. We definitely recommend this place.

Super clean, host was very prompt on getting initial setup. The house itself very unique and worth the stay. Will stay again

Galen and Karen were wonderful hosts. They kept us informed and were so very helpful. The location on Barron Lake is so beautiful, quiet and peaceful. The town of Niles is a short 5-7 minute drive and the Notre Dame campus is about 15 or 20 minutes from their home. The breakfasts were outstanding! We had 6 people in the home including our infant grandson and there was plenty of room for more. We had a fantastic time and so will you.

Comfortable and clean, delicious breakfast, lovely conversation. My daughter is studying at Notre Dame - staying at the Kuhn BnB is the perfect place to stay when visiting her. Thank you!

Beautiful historic mansion just minutes from downtown. Gracious host and wonderful accommodations!

The Tandem Inn was lovely. The rooms were decorated quite nicely with lots of personal touches, lots of local recommendations were given for town explorations, and our host was very welcoming. The breakfast was delicious!

Excellent hospitality! ❤️ they asked us if we wanted the room upstairs instead of the first floor. We were completely out of shock to see the room with amazing view!!!! 🥰. Breakfast were excellent! Also snacks and wine too! Great memories of this place! Wish we could stay there for a month! 😁 They are the best hosts!

Ron and Ken's place in three oaks is the perfect stop over if you're in the area. Top notch house. Warm and welcoming home. Room was comfy and well done. Just what we needed. Enjoyed breakfast with the other house guests of the time. Added to the communal experience. We highly suggest to anyone looking for a true b&b experience that you don't see much anymore.

We had such a lovely time at the Centennial Inn. The house is gorgeous, quiet, and within walking distance of downtown Holland. Centennial Park is right across the street, which made the view from our room fantastic. And don’t sleep on the continental breakfast! Great options, delicious, and great coffee on top of that.

This was my first experience at a true bed-and-breakfast. Dennis and Jim are amongst the nicest people I have ever met. Their home is beautiful, the location is serene and peaceful, the bed is luxurious and comfortable, the views are unparalleled, and there is true love in the hospitality service that they provide. Breakfasts were all wonderful (but the quiche was my favorite) and it was so nice to get to know the other guests as well as hear about Dennis and Jim’s local recommendations during that time. I cannot wait to come back!

Loved the location, I messaged the host for an earlier check in, they were able to accommodate this request and communicated well with us, several lovely places to sit inside as well as numerous places on the large deck out front and back, both decks had water views

Must stay B&B! Eric and Tracy have gone above and beyond renovating the Forest Inn for the perfect getaway. The entire house is very intentional, gorgeous woodwork throughout, and clean. Multiple common spaces for spending time relaxing or playing games. Breakfast was wonderful while relaxing on the front porch and included fresh ingredients and delicious homemade food. Douglas beach is an easy walk and the pool was clean and refreshing. Easy to get into downtown Saugatuck but you will barely want to leave your place at Forest Inn!

What a beautiful find! The resort is welcoming and cozy! The whole place is as comfortable as can be! Our room was also comfortable with it's own fireplace! Breakfast was also amazing! Highly recommend for a romantic getaway!

We only had one night available to stay in Douglas and felt so lucky to find a spot at The Forest Inn. The updated property was just stunning and I wish there had been more time to enjoy just sitting on the wraparound porch or lounging in the games room. We did get a chance to dip into the pool, which was so peaceful. We saw deer roaming in the woods nearby the first afternoon and again while eating breakfast on the porch. I just loved every bit of our comfortable stay. It's walking distance to a favorite local beach and the walk along Lakeshore Drive with coffee in the morning was really relaxing. We'd love to stay again and plan to bike around the neighborhood and over to the downtown spots we love in both Saugatuck and Douglas. Definitely recommend a stay here.

Eric and Tracy did a wonderful job restoring the property while keeping the original feel and charm of the home. The location could not be better, you are a 5 minute walk to a secluded beach and only a few minute drive to both downtown Saugatuck and Douglas. Eric’s breakfasts were phenomenal and he did an exceptional job accommodating a severe allergy. The room we stayed in was spacious and beautifully renovated. The bathroom and shower were among the best in any hotel or bnb property I have ever stayed in. If you are looking for a relaxing stay in the Saugatuck area you could not find a better place.

We absolutely loved our stay! The area was beautiful! There were loads of things to do, and it would be a perfect vacation spot in a variety of seasons. On top of taking part in the festivities of Tulip Time, we also got away from the crowds and visited the beach nearby, walked local trails, and did a bit of yoga in the the sunny back room. We booked both appartments, and it was a great fit for our large group. The house was lovely. I could see this being a perfect vacation stop for anyone! Breakfast every day was a great bonus as well! Sara, Rob, and pups Iris and Zinnia were fantastic hosts. We would definitely stay again the next time we're in Michigan!
