South Eleuthera: soggiorni in alloggi sulla spiaggia

We had a wonderful time at the property – so secluded and close to the most beautiful beach – the dock was wonderful to just sit out and watch the sun set and the turtles swim by. The home was clean, and the pool was nice – this was just what the doctor ordered. Violet and Charles are very nice and always accommodating – great team.

The place is more than beautiful. The property is located on a beachfront lot. The beach itself is really serene, we’ve seen only 3 people on it over the 4 days we’be passed there…. And it was Christmas… The villa is spacious for our party of two and could ideally accomodate a family. You’ll have every accessories you need to spend 2-3 weeks vacation there. We wish we’d book for longer but decided to visit a couple of Bahamian islands on our 10 day visit. There are lots of good restaurants nearby but a car is really a must if you want to reabh them easily. We liked afternoon munches at Potlatch Club, dinners at Bougainvillea and, of course, relax snacks at Tippy’s. Barbara is a great host and did everything she could to accomodate our (belated by the airline company) arrival and departure. Her manager, Winifred, is also really pleasant to deal with and efficent. I definetly would go again and recommend the place.

La Round House è letteralmente meravigliosa, ricca di particolari e dettagli che la rendono accogliente e richiamano il mare, è circondata da natura incontaminata ma nonostante questo il proprietario è letteralmente a due passi per qualunque problema, vista mare bellissima con spiagge altrettanto belle raggiungibili a piedi ( franch bech e twins cove) . Consiglio di noleggiare un auto per visitare tutta l'isola che è paradisiaca ma se volete fare un vacanza di puro relax questa casa supererà qualunque aspettativa !

Paradise! Everything you ever imagined. House was perfect and the beach was amazing. We hardly saw anyone. There are two restaurants 5 minutes away Local grocery store and shopping 15 minutes away in Governor’s Harbor. Definitely take advantage of some excursions to really appreciate everything the island offers. We can’t wait to plan our next visit👍

This was our first trip to Eleuthera. We wanted to explore central and south Eleuthera with a house away from crowds. Exploring and connecting with the location we travel to is always a priority to us. The Round House was perfect. We only ate out twice, using the kitchen (except oven) to prepare our meals. In the evenings we relaxed inside with all the windows open listening to the Atlantic and always comfortable with the breeze. The beautiful landscape around the house makes it so easy to fall completely into the island experience. We had a fantastic 7 night vacay. Taja and Doon helped make that happen. We enjoyed visiting with locals on the island. The absolute nicest people!

Pebbles is in a beautiful location and has a great, almost private, beach! The place is simple but comfortable and clean. Eleuthera is a beautiful island and Pebbles is in a great location. We were off season so many restaurants and shops were closed. Just keep it in mind if you need to be out for dinner every night. We scored at the fish market so enjoyed our fresh fish every night. This was our first time on the island and this was the perfect retreat for our family. The space is luxuriously appointed and feels like home with board games, TV, fully stocked kitchen (spices, coffee, cooking essentials). The neighborhood is quiet and about a 5 minute drive to the beach and about a 8 minute drive to Governor’s Harbor where there’s some food and gift shops. We would certainly stay here again in the future.

My boyfriend and I had the most wonderful vacation staying at the Bungalow. It was clean, spacious and accurate in terms of what the listing had described. We made use of the kitchen accessories that were provided (plates, bowls, cups, utensils, minifridge, microwave, coffee maker ect.) which was helpful when picking up food in town with a car that was easily rented. It was extremely relaxing with our own private patio and various kinds of lounge chairs while also offering a more social atmosphere at the restaurant and bar. While we had seen a review mentioning a slightly uncomfortable bed, we slept comfortably every night. The views were amazing from the property, we felt extremely safe and at-home and spent a lot of time (frequently without seeing another person) on the beautiful beach just steps from the bungalow, as well as floating in the pool and taking advantage of the swim-up bar. I could not have asked for a more friendly and accommodating staff on the property and restaurant/bar as well (Mekell who welcomed us with a seamless check-in, Sammy at the bar, Pascal and Francesca at the restaurant and the younger staff helping to take care of the house and ground-keepings) not to mention - the food and drink at Pascal's was delicious!! Pam from the rental team was also extremely helpful with my Q&A's via email. While there is so much of the world to see this would be a spot I would return, knowing that there is such an amazing experience to be had.

Great stay with our kids here. Best part was the amazing snorkeling- right off the beach at the bottom of the stairs. The reef here made things calm and the fish we saw were amazing. Very private and quiet. Kids also loved the beach with waves about .5 mi down the road by Pascals restaurant. The beds were very comfortable and kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. Road to get there is rough but we loved the seclusion and adventure.

We had an amazing stay at this beachfront property! The location is unbeatable, with stunning ocean views and just steps away from the sand. The house itself is beautifully decorated, clean, and equipped with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. Waking up to the sound of waves and enjoying morning coffee was pure bliss. An unforgettable beach getaway!

pictures don't do it justice. Sand was white and powdery, felt like flour. Beautiful beach. Nobody on it, ever. 4 miles of nothing which I loved. Snorkeling was average in the bay. House had snorkels and masks, paddle board and kayak, which we never took out. Locals will drop off whatever you need and do any tours you want. House is 1:45mins from the north where you have to ferry to an island to swim with the pigs, so we skipped that. I'm certain there is good snorkeling elsewhere on the island. We went south to Jacks Bay and got a tour of the Nicholas championship golf course and tiger woods course. Windemeyer was good, gated community. Food there is very average but the pickleball courts were great and everyone everywhere is so friendly. House had 5 bedrooms, 5 bath. The 5th bedroom was really small, fit 1 comfortably, but we didn't need it. A few restaurants are closed. Clothes washer didn't work (didn't spin the clothes). Overall, Awesome. Get fresh fish delivered

It's hard to describe Paradise, but if I had to picture what it would be like it would be Cayo Loco! The beach and the water were the prettiest I have ever seen (and I have lived in Hawaii). You can walk for miles and not see anyone. To me there is nothing better than sleeping with the windows open and having the sound of the ocean waves lull you to sleep. Plenty of great things to do and wonderful places to eat. Our host would give us updates everyday with suggestions which was so helpful! They went above and beyond to make our stay the best it could be. Other than the amazing beaches, the most memorable experiences we had were with the people of Eleuthera. The culture there is to be welcoming, kind and considerate to everyone. They truly love and respect their island and want you to feel at home there. We can't wait to return and hope to stay longer this time.

I could not have asked for a better place to stay in!! This was perfect for our little family with our 10 month old baby. The view was spectacular and it was so convenient walking down to the beach everyday with our girl! The kayaks supplied were so fun! My husband and I took turns while we watched the baby on the shore. Such a great location too! Felt super safe! Next to great restaurants (Tippy’s and La Bounganvillea). Hewitt the property manager on site was so sweet. And dealing with Pam was amazing. Her communication was impeccable and she was so patient with us and All our questions. The house itself was beautiful and so comfortable. Book it! You won’t find a better place or property management team!!!!

Perfect spot for a family of 5 on French Leave Beach. Beautiful views from the house, immediate and private access onto the beach, warm pool, and endless beach toys was the perfect place for a relaxing week in Eleuthera.

I've been on the island many times the location of this house is actually amazing just 10 minutes from the central airport and 5 minutes to the best restaurants in town, the view of the water is just spectacular. Private Road real quiet and peaceful.

We really enjoyed our stay at Baha Mara. It was everything we had hoped for and more. The house itself is spacious and light-filled, well appointed and equipped, with lovely art and nice touches throughout. Comfortable beds and living room space, great kitchen for cooking, large porch for sitting out. We spent a lot of time relaxing on the day beds at water's edge, as well as exploring the tide line and in the water on the SUPs and with snorkels. This was our first visit to Eleuthera, and we found Baha Mara to be perfectly located to venture out to various villages, beaches, restaurants and grocery options not too far from the house. We discovered on our first day that the closest eastside beach, Islandia, is closed to the public pending a sale of the surrounding 466+ acres (!), so we explored a handful of the myriad sandy stretches up and down the coast. We only wished that we had more days to spend and that we had booked a day out on the boat with John/Big Mac Fishing. Next time!

Amazing stay, peaceful and beautiful surroundings. Alexander is a fantastic host always willing to help and make the stay even better.

From front-porch sitting and strolling around the village of Tarpum Bay for the 90-year-old grandparents to exploring and scuba diving for the parents and grandchildren, this place was perfect.The location, right on the shore but in a shaded place, was idyllic. You can swim right off the shore if you wear reef shoes to get over the coral. For the maintenance issues, Samuel Dorcent, the caretaker and go-to man, was very quick and responsive. On the morning our rental car would not start, he had his friend, the auto mechanic, there in ten minutes with a big battery charger to get us going. Samuel was also just an interesting person to get to know. He was always reachable on his cell phone. The only negative review we could find complained of bugs and the lack of air-conditioning. We found that the fans were more than adequate to keep us comfortable. Picardin and deet work fine against the bugs. This place is not the Disney Resort and that’s what we liked best. We’ll be back next year.

We had a wonderful time at Betty’s ❤️ Beautiful beaches easily accessible, great patio, inspiring views - just what we were looking for:) Would absolutely stay again & highly recommend for long or short stays.

Je recommande à 100% Rosemary et Spencer sont très gentils et très accueillants, Il est venu nous chercher en haut de l’île a notre arrivée et nous a déposer a l’aéroport du sud de l’île le matin de notre départ, La voiture que Spencer nous a mise a disposition nous a était très utile, Le logement est très propre, calme, la vue est magnifique. La réalité est très conforme a la description, Je n’hésiterai pas a revenir, Merci pour l’accueil !

A HOME AWAY FROM HOME. The host Ms. Barbara is very helpful, communicative, and accommodating. The photos doesn’t give this cottage any justice! It’s super huge, clean, and well equipped with everything you may need during your stay. There is an amazing private beach steps away from the back porch. I would most definitely stay at this cottage if I was to visit southern Eleuthera again.

We stayed April 5-19 2025. The house is new, spacious and great window light coming in. Comfortable bedding etc. the house is on kind of a rocky beach but it is one of the few we have found on Eleuthera with shells! The back porch facing the ocean was one of our favorites spots to hang out when not in the sun. There are 2 hammocks in the yard which were so relaxing. Ken, brother in law of owner lives close by and checked in with us and as the house is new and just started being rented out he said to let him know if we think of anything it might need. We travel to Eleuthera about once a year. And there were a couple itemsI I thought the place could use and presto! Ken had them to us by evening! That was fantastic so now there is a cooler to use, some additional kitchen items and an iron 🙂 David also checked in when we arrived and after we checked out. We really like Neek’s. Eats for food and drinks and it is only about 5 min. Away. There are some games there and we left a couple book
