Chambls Shack

Chambls Shack provides wanderers with a slow stay, overlooking the sandy beach at Verona Sands. Chambls is a genuine shack experience, complete with 1970’s kitchen, open fireplace and light shades. Plenty of wobbly bits and sloping floors, but we’re watertight, warm and a whole load of fun. Situated 1 hour from Hobart via Huon or Channel, Chambls welcomes travellers who want to truly relax and revisit the 70’s in luxe linens, open fire and a bottle of red. Or bring the kids and hit the beach.

Apple Crate Shack

The house is a spacious architect-designed one-bedroom studio: great for couples enjoying a weekend away or solo adventurers looking to explore the area. Watch the sunrise over the Channel, chill out on the deck in the afternoon sun, then finish the day with a hot outdoor shower under the stars (indoor shower also available). Located in Flowerpot, my place sits between a heritage apple orchard and an organic vineyard, 40 mins from Hobart. The house is NOT on Bruny Island but 10mins drive away

Luxury yurt glamping at Littlegrove

Nestled in an olive grove with views over Bruny Island’s famous Fluted Cape, our yurts offer the ultimate romantic glamping experience, with private bathroom and cooking facilities and an outdoor bath and fire pit for star gazing. Each yurt is furnished with vintage wares collected from all over the world, an internal wood fire, timber floors, and wool lined walls for cosy nights. Double glazed windows look out over the grove and surrounding forest which wraps 360 degrees around our farm.

Enjoy the entire property, including native Australian bushland, a games shed, private garden, and cubby house and more.

Markets every week in the valley, including the Cygnet market 1st & 3rd Sunday of the mth, Willie Smith's Artisan & Farmers Market every Saturday, 10-1.

The Cabin by the Sea is a quiet coastal retreat hosted by The Little Garden Farm. During your stay you’re invited to visit our farm garden, a short drive from the cabin, for a brief guided walk, where guests can harvest seasonal greens to enjoy during their stay or take home. Aalto Cottage is a self contained studio cottage situated in Lunawanna on Daniels Bay. This is the quiet, private area of Bruny Island but close to many walks and attractions on the Island. The cottage is near the family home but has many trees and shrubs to provide privacy for guests. We will only interact if you require some help. We are inclusive hosts and welcome people from all walks of life

AERIE retreat. A private designer apartment in the bush by the water. Walk down to the very private Wilderness Deck for exclusive use of the Timber Hot Tub, Sauna and fire pit. Access to the waterfront marine reserve is also exclusively available for our guests. A brilliant spot to stay summer or winter. Watch the winter full moon rise over the ocean from the hot tub and sauna.

Welcome to the beautiful east coast of Bruny Island, where contentment and connection awaits. From The Joneses, a mid century style home originally built by Mr L Jones and reimagined in 2023 to become a luxurious escape for couples or solo travellers, you will have uninterrupted views of the azure waters of Adventure Bay and across to Penguin Island and Fluted Cape.
