South Bruny: soggiorni in cottage

A fabulous climax to our 10 days in Tassie. Even with strong winds on the first day we were snug in this most private elegantly appointed ‘Boathouse’ with a 270 degree view of the bay through beautiful woodland. There was fresh bread and champagne for our arrival and a variety of pillow types for the bed, which was much appreciated. I saw from the guest book that there are regular visitors who come back every year - it’s no wonder and we hope to be back ourselves.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hundred Acre Hideaway. The accommodation is clean and homey, and the barrel was amazing. Charlie was very welcoming and made sure we knew how to use the barrel.

Super comfortable bed with some of the most amazing views you will ever see. Best spot for a spa especially at sunset. Great facilities provided. Was perfect for the relaxing getaway that we were seeking. Thanks for a great cottage.

Fabulously located property. Comfortable and convenient. Karen was very responsive and flexible, providing us with a late check-out, which was very much appreciated.

The property was clean, spacious and comfortable. The hosts were responsive. There was a small issue with a leaking tap but we managed to resolve it relatively quickly. The location is excellent for anyone who wants easy access to Huonville and Ranelagh. I would stay again.

We loved staying at Three Trees Retreat. Everything had been thought of for our comfort. The view out over the water was amazing and the bed was so comfy. Even saw some quolls. We didn't want to leave.

Good location, very walkable to the major city sights. And the perfect size for a couple with everything you might need for a longer stay.

Lovely getaway long weekend for us and our dogs. Great walks, peaceful and quiet.

Upon walking in the door to Liz's place we were instantly relaxed, drawn to the wonderful water and sunset views at the back of the property. From the well-provisioned kitchen and pantry, the great supply of wood for the fireplace, fabulous information about the area and friendly, timely comms, Liz had everything covered. We're already planning our next visit to Bruny Sea House.

This place is just the sweetest place to stay. Sit on the balcony and watch the chooks by day and pademelons at night. Compact but everything I wanted kitchen. The coolest stairs and wood wall. Close to Woodbridge Village for brekky but also close to Birchs Bay Art Farm, Kettering and not far across to Cygnet too.

We loved our nights at lemon tree cottage, what a beautiful place! So worth the money! Kasey was lovely and so helpful when needed! There were extra little goodies left for us when we arrived which was beautiful and so unexpected! We will definitely be back sometime in the future, Thankyou Kasey for having us!

Beautiful, cosy house with a stunning view and set in a wide open space. Katharine was very helpful and accommodating. The kids particularly loved the table tennis table and the soccer net.

Had a lovely stay at Clock Cottage. Natalie has done a great job of making the place feel very cosy and had everything we needed for a three night stay. Location perfectly balances convenience and tranquility, there are great cafes across the road and it is short trip into the city.

Robert and Fiona were wonderful hosts and their Airbnb is well situated. They provided us breakfast provisions including fresh eggs, fresh sourdough loaf and fruits. The location of the Airbnb in Cynet is close to many places to visit (Randals Bay, Huonville, etc) and is only a 30 min drive to the ferry to Bruny Island. The Airbnb is right beside their main home but there is definitely a lot of privacy. There are many thoughtful touches to the Airbnb such as the fresh flowers all over the home, the well-decorated pieces such as their sewing lamp, the deck and view of their garden. They even had picnic items to share during the visit such as a blanket and Esky. There is a BBQ and the kitchen is well stocked. We would definitely consider coming back to theirs if we visit Tasmania in the near future!

Very cute cozy place. A perfect base for a few days. Good walkable distance (10-15 mins) to the pier where all the touristy things are. Absolutely serviceable kitchen to save on buying out every meal.

Loved this place the garden is so pretty and whilst we are close to everything in town we felt like it was so private and calming. I loved all of the details and would stay again

We had a great stay! Phillip was friendly and helpful throughout the process and the place was perfect. We’d definitely come back next time we’re in Hobart.

Such a peaceful spot and the beach so close Too chilly to swim but enjoyed having a cuppa listening to the quietness on the beach A daily activity Very comfortable so clean and easy to warm Cosy at night and loved the electric bed Fantastic to read our books Lots to do and see in Bruny but also a place to relax which just what we needed The wildlife were a treat Dee was great We contacted her over a minor issue Prompt response and all was sorted Thanks Dee Did not get to see all that Bruny has to offer so will need to visit again Three nights not enough Highly recommend our stay

This is a lovely house right in the heart of battery point, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.
