Doris our shepherd's hut is nestled in our paddock and meadow on the Somerset levels and has lovely views over neighbouring fields. It is close but not too close to our other hut Daphne and our annexe room Huberts. We are keen to encourage flora and fauna and manage the paddock accordingly. We are situated on the outskirts of a small village and the edge of the Somerset levels. We are ideally situated for sightseeing around Somerset. Daphne our other hut is also in the paddock.

Wrens House is a shepherds hut nestled in the Alham Valley, an area of re-wilding close to the fashionable towns of Bruton and Frome. We have an outdoor bath so what better way to cool down and relax. Included in your stay is our delicious breakfast. Want a place you can get back to nature? Watch our pedigree cattle grazing in the luscious fields beyond, unwind in the wood fired hot tub under the stars with a glass of locally brewed ale or English fizz or curl up on the cosy bed with a book. Middlezoy is a small, rural village in the heart of Somerset. 6 miles from M5 and the ancient town of Langport, 12 miles from both the county town of Taunton and Clark’s Village in Street. Traditional village gastronomic public house. Renowned cycling routes, good for ramblers. RSPB Greylake 2 miles away. Middlezoy has the well renowned Windmill Hill Spa with licensed cafe which opened last year (please see their website for further details).

Set privately within our woodland a short up hill walk from the parking area nestled amongst the trees with views over the countryside and quantock hills.
