Cottontail Cottage - A Santa Ynez Retreat

Get out of the city and sneak away to Cottontail Cottage. Walk past the garden and across the storybook bridge into your charming pocket of peace, nestled right in downtown Santa Ynez. Enjoy eggs fresh from the chickens and explore all old Santa Ynez has to offer. You will be a 5 minute walk to top notch restaurants, coffee shops, boutique clothing stores, wine tasting, and just a quick drive to Los Olivos and Solvang. There are 2 resident rabbits (Tommy & Alfie) who would love to meet you!

Rustic retreat

This cottage is very comfortable and cute. It is rustic but we have AC and heat for every season. The outside has a lovely courtyard with fire pit and string lights. This cottage is very centrally located with Los Olivos just a mile up the road and Solvang 3 miles down the road. There are many wineries in every direction walking distance and a bike ride away. It sleeps two comfortably in our queen size bed. Please let us know the duration of time in which she would like to stay.

Our home was built around 1911 & recently restored, keeping its original character in tact. A short walk to the delicious Bob's Well Bread & the Ballard Inn Restaurant. Not to mention down the road from wine tasting, delicious restaurants & shopping. Come relax & enjoy this beautiful home & great location as much as we do.

We are centrally located in downtown Ballard. Walk or bike to Lincourt, Rideau, Buttonwood, and more. The town of Los Olivos is approx. 2 miles away, a nice, easy bike ride or a short drive. Take a moment to view our posted guidebook for several local dining options, and Bob's Well Bread is within walking distance for breakfast or lunch (open Thurs thru Monday). And of course, we're happy to make recommendations for dining options upon request.

The house is situated on a 5 acre ranch and features high end modern appliances, entertainment system and hot tub. The two-bedroom one-bath cottage is located halfway between Solvang and the quaint town of Los Olivos. Stroll remote country lanes and enjoy views of rolling hills and the nearby goats, llamas and horses!

So enjoyed being out of town, but so close to everything! Our only regret is we did not have longer to stay. ***What a wonderful studio that offers beautiful views of the mountains.
