Shepherd's Hut with views of the Old Man of Storr

Escape to Skye in our cosy hut in the heart of the most exciting scenery in the world. 5 min walk to Kilt Rock and a patio with spectacular views of the mountains. 10 mins drive to the Storr or the Quiraing for walking and to Staffin Beach with dinosaur footprints. Aird Villa with its south facing decking is said to be one of the nicest houses on the Isle of Scalpay. It sits overlooking Scalpay’s quiet North Harbour where the local fishing boats are moored. From the decking it's exhilarating watching the birds & boats as you are more or less right above the water's edge. The house has been renovated to a very high standard and is comfortable, light, spacious & warm. It has a modern clean feeling coupled with the charm of a traditional Scalpay island home.

We're excited to offer our guests a 5* experience with our custom built cabin. We worked closely with our friends at the award winning Corr Cabins to create a tranquil and luxurious get away on the beautiful Isle of Skye! Cabin Beo is located beside our home and takes in the breathtaking views over Portree Bay and over to the Old Man of Storr, from its full size picture window. The cabin comes fully equipped with a wood burning stove, kitchenette, luxurious king size bed and full bathroom.

Skye Red Fox Retreat - stunning luxury glamping

The Red Fox Retreat is the ultimate luxury glamping getaway location. A twist on the more conventional ‘pod’, the cabin features a curved wood interior entered from an arched doorway in front of which is situated a perfectly appointed king sized bed with amazing views of the Trottenish Ridge and the croft (farmland) that surrounds the property. It is warm and cosy to protect against the elements and yet light and airy. The cabin is accessed via a spectacular large undercover deck area.

Otternish Pods, North Uist

Otternish Pods on North Uist are situated on a working croft and are ideally located for exploring the islands. 1 mile from Berneray ferry terminal and 10 miles from Lochmaddy. Each pod is open plan with a kitchenette, seating dining, sleeping area and shower room. 3/4 bed and sofa-bed provides accommodation for up to 4. It is ideal for 2,If there are 4 adults you may feel it rather small. Bedding and towels are provided. Heating, TV and WiFi all add to a warm comfortable stay.

Vancouver Self Catering Cottage

Vancouver Cottage is tucked into the peaceful township of Harlosh, sitting among wild surroundings giving you a true sense of the landscape of Skye. From the windows you can gaze out to the distinctive twin peaks of MacLeod’s Tables and across to the sea. It is a place for getting away from the hustle and discovering the great outdoors. The cottage offers private parking and has a sister property across from it so we can accommodate up to 8 guests. No check-in/out on Sundays

Gael

Gael is a modern cabin on a working croft, which captures uninterrupted views over Portree bay, Ben Tianavaig and the Cuillin hills in the far distance. The cabin itself has a full height atrium which includes a functional kitchenette, seating area, log-burner and a three-piece bathroom suite. The mezzanine level is accessed by a wooden staircase featuring a comfortable double bed. Situated just off the Scorrybreach trail this is the perfect launchpad for your Skye adventure.

Award-winning eco beach-house and sauna

This eco-house has double height windows pointing directly out to sea. A view which cannot be beaten. With all mod-cons, this modern building is pure luxurious comfort and peace, and comes with a top of the range separate sauna building all to yourself. The sauna has an cold shower, or wait till the tide comes in and run straight on to the beach for a dip. Inside the house is beautifully furnished with ply and caithness slate throughout, underfloor heating and powerful wifi.

Grenitote Pod

This is a cosy pod that sleeps 2 people with a double bed and a double sofa bed. You have a kitchenette and a toilet/shower en-suite. There is a small dining area, free Wi-Fi and TV. The pod is on the grounds of our family home which also houses my bookbinding workshop. The pod has its own access from our shared car park. Please feel free to pop into my Sollas Bookbinding studio during your stay or get creative by booking your own bookbinding workshop with me.

The Wee Wooden Yurt at Caolas Gallery is a green roofed, original wooden round house with picture windows giving an uninterrupted view of the sea across to the Isle of Scalpay and South East Harris.
