Minutes to Discovery trails, Olympic National Park, Hurricane Rige base, Hiking, mountain biking trails , fishing, mushroom hunting, kayaking spots , surf breaks, winery's and many more fun activities close by!

Take a break and relax on beautiful Lake Sutherland just outside Olympic National Park. The cabin is in a convenient location on the lake with fantastic hiking nearby. It’s a quick 20 minute drive to Port Angeles and only an hour drive to the coast. You can easily get to many popular spots within the National Park or take a day trip to Hoh. This charming cabin is perfect for a family trip, working remote, or be enjoyed for a friends trip. It is the perfect spot to enjoy the beauty of the PNW.

(Walking access is only 2 mi away). We are nestled in the middle of the gateway to Olympic National Park, and everything this area has to offer. We are only 10 miles from Port Angeles. The cabin's gracious floor to ceiling windows let you soak in the views while you cozy up by the fireplace. Whether you are inside or out, you will be getting your much needed dose of nature.

Mountain View Shire Getaway

Relax and enjoy the amazing view from the deck of this unique glamping site. This hillside getaway was created from a culvert and planted into the side of a hill, nestled among trees and forest flora. Low voltage lighting, propane on demand hot water, cook top and heater. The view overlooks a pond, the valley below with Mt. Baldy in the background. An outdoor shower also has an awesome view! This countryside glamping site is near the ONP, Discovery trail, and Port Angeles.
