We throughly enjoyed our 3 night stay at Rachel’s and Chad’s lovely home on Smith Mountain Lake. It was very clean and comfortable, making it a peaceful place to relax and enjoy the wonderful lake area. Rachel and Chad were great hosts, leaving clear instructions, and being quickly responsive to any questions we had. We would definitely stay there again if we were visiting the area.

Very clean home. Close to main road. Easy access though I did drive right past the driveway which is a bit hidden.

Loved staying here! Great lake views and water activities. Mariana was very responsive and so kind!

The Carriage House oozes charm and comfort. The house is very clean and well-equipped with all of the comforts of home and Jonathan provided timely information to make everything seamless. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Our family gathered there in the Forest/Lynchburg area for Thanksgiving this year. We found this property to be entirely suitable for our use in this way. The house is laid out well and we were able to enjoy our time together. Scott was very accommodating on anything that we needed and responsive when we had any questions. We certainly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely consider staying in this property again if we needed to gather in that area. Highly recommend this property to others whose group sizes are compatible with the house. Thanks so much for making us feel at home and for accommodating us while we were here.

Relaxing and amazing place. The house a very very well equipped. Lot of fun with my family during our stay.

My hosts were the best. My family was in town due to a family emergency, which when Leah found out how serious it was she even left a beautiful succulent for me. U don’t find that kind of person everyday that’s for sure. Everything was wonderful and peaceful there. Would definitely recommend.

Shady Oaks is located in a quaint development right on the water. It's heavily wooded with lots of shade. The neighborhood is generally quiet and there is a private road that loops down and back. The house is well maintained and features lots of outdoor space to enjoy your stay. Water access is via the dock which also features an elevated deck above the dock. The kids and I spent most of our time at the dock--enjoying the cove by either fishing or kayaking (2 come with the rental). Relaxing on the deck was also great in the evening. We brought our puppy since dogs are allowed (extra $25 per day upto 2 dogs). It was nice to have an enclosed deck off the main level for our puppy to enjoy with us. The beds were very firm memory foam, but comfy. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, utensil, gadgets, spices, and oils. The location is convenient to the state park (a must), Virginia Dare boat tour, restaurants, and shopping. Overall a good 3-day weekend stay.

My friend and I had an incredible stay at Michelle's place! The cabin was exactly as described and had a lot of privacy. The surroundings were beautiful - the best part was the riding stables only a four minute drive away. Definitely go for a ride and stop by the petting zoo:) Look forward to staying in the future!

Perfect for dog lovers and lake lovers! I’ve rented various condos at Smith Mountain Lake and several different ones at Stripers Landing, but Shannon’s place is now my new favorite. With a great view, plenty of space and the option to bring the pup - it’s such a treat. Highly recommend.

I loved staying at Mariners Landing in this lovely condo. It was perfect for a peaceful couple of nights away in the "off season" though any season at Smith Mountain Lake is beautiful! I enjoyed the amenities including the indoor pool, game room, and beach area, and had a fabulous meal from Bruno's Clubhouse. The condo was beautifully decorated and I spent a lot of time on the lakefront balcony. Definitely recommend a stay here!

We had a wonderful stay at Mariner’s Landing. It is a nice community with lots of amenities when in season. We enjoyed walking down to the beach at the lake for swimming. This is a ground level unit so you can walk out the back straight to the lake. It was very peaceful and homey. There were board games and coloring books for kids. The unit was very clean and comfortable. It would have been nice for there to be body wash and shampoo and more laundry detergent as it is out of town about 15 minutes. The hosts were very helpful and easy to communicate with. As a family with young kids, the pros include access to the beach, community clubhouse with pool (indoor all year and outdoor during the summer), coloring books and games in the unit, and bunkbed setup. Thank you for letting us stay in your wonderful home.

Had a wonderful time with the family, Tammy was a great host! Very responsive and communicative. Definitely a better fit for older kids (the hills 🤣), but Tammy had ALL the essentials for babies to be accommodated and right at home! And the littles loved fishing too. It was an excellent spring break for us!

Great stay. Cute condo right above restaurant and store. Brought my SUP and used it a lot. Lots to do at Mariner’s landing. Great food and service at The Landing, Bruno’s and Bottles and Bites. State Park 7 minutes away is excellent for hiking. Lots of friendly neighbors! We’re ready to go back!!

Literally the best sleep I’ve had at a place not my home, and I travel a lot! Already booked another stay. Home was immaculate and the view was breathtaking. Thank you again!!

For the price, this is a fantastic place to stay, and I would happily do so again. The place was clean and the host was very responsive and generous with goodies, including coffee, good cream, and some snacks. We had everything we needed. It seems to be a converted cinder-block garage/shop. It is nothing fancy, but it is a pleasant, comfortable space. Pretty much matched the description and pictures. The location is great, just one black from the Grandin Theatre and surrounding shops and restaurants.

Very good attention to thoughtful detail, eg snacks, tea, coffee, shampoo, hand cream, towels, bedding choices. Decor was creative and fresh. Attentive host.

Amazing and YES, cozy but not small country cottage! Beautiful Natural and well kept outdoors. Many sitting and dinning areas. inside provided tremendous light, many windows, Amazing space and separation of sleeping areas and very private bath. Kitchen perfectly laid out with much space for multiple cooks. Clean, private, quite and indoor bug free environment. Two perfect fire pits; one secluded for privacy and another perfect for gatherings. Perfect ambience. We felt we were home away from home. We had last minute request and Michelle was flexible, accommodating and went beyond host duties to fulfill our unusual needs. We will definitely return for another country cozy get away. Check in/out instructions were clear and minimal. Thank you for an amazing getaway! Look for us to return. We will definitely tell our friends!

I absolutely loved the stay! Luca’s home was so beautiful and my family loved it. The home was super cozy! Me and my family had a great time. I will definitely recommend.

This place was perfect for my mom and I! We each had a separate place but we were right across the hall from each other. We liked how close it was to downtown Roanoke. Stephen made a video to show where the apartments were and where to park - it was so helpful! He was very responsive tp our questions and gave us local restaurant recommendations. We were in town to visit family and we were able to walk to Mast (a local clothing/general store) from where we were staying - it was only a 12 minute walk. The place was spacious, beautiful, and so clean! We will definitely stay here again when in Roanoke!

This was the best stocked AirBnB we have ever stayed at. It made our stay so much more enjoyable!! The whole house is just lovely. Thank you Rachel for being a great host. We would definitely stay here again!

Kelli's place was absolutely perfect for our party of four + dog! We were visiting for a wedding with many events throughout the week, frequently coming & going. Location was very convenient to downtown & just off the main road for us. We particularly appreciated that while the place felt homey, it wasn't overly full of decorations covering every surface, making you feel like your belongings are going to get easily lost. It was well equipped to cook at the place & we wanted for nothing! Kelli was extremely kind & accommodating to our schedule. We would definitely stay here again!

Had such a great stay at this house. Beautiful scenery, lots of porch and outdoor space, relatively private from neighboring homes. Bedrooms and amenities were as described. Kitchen was pretty well stocked w/ cooking implements and whatnot. Elizabeth is a super responsive, friendly host that made us all feel at home. Would def go back!
