Cosy 2 bedroom river/coastal retreat in whitby

Relax with the family at our peaceful cosy cottage. A short 30 minute scenic walk into central whitby over the cinder track or a 4 minute drive or taxi ride. Visit a bustling town during the day but have a peaceful night sleep in this quiet part of whitby. Access to the on site indoor swimming pool which is open from 15th feb 2025 until November 2025(one time fee£10/£20), laundrette (one time fee of £10), playpark and swings right outside the back door. Bay Tree Cottage is located in a peaceful location a stones throw away from the beach and the Cod & Lobster with the other village amenities only a short stroll away. The spacious cottage has been fully renovated throughout to a high standard. It features a wood burning stove, a great outside area and the sea views from the master bedroom are breathtaking. It is suitable for couples & families alike, ideal for both relaxing or a more energetic break, for example walking the Cleveland Way.

Sandside Retreat

Sandside Retreat is situated in the heart of Whitby’s Old Town, at the foot of the iconic 199 steps leading to the Abbey. ; whilst tucked away for peace and quiet. Just a stone’s throw away from Tate Hill Sands, harbour, shops, restaurants and bars. Sleeping up to 3 guests, it features a cosy living room with separate kitchen/diner. There is a private patio which overlooks the sea towards the East Pier. Unlike many cottages to the East Side, there are no steps leading up to the cottage.

Summerfield Bungalow

Summerfield bungalow is located just outside the village of Hawsker, midway between Whitby & Robin Hood’s bay. The bungalow is private, detached, not overlooked & is spacious, bright with stunning views from every window. From the front you can see Whitby Abbey and harbour, from the side there’s a lovely view of All Saints church approx 20 metres away & from the rear there are uninterrupted views of the Yorkshire countryside. The gardens extend to around a third of an acre and are secure.

Scholes Park by the sea is a beautiful semi detached home which sleeps 5 people minutes from the North bay beach by foot and the Scarborough open air theatre. Situated in a quiet reidential area yet still close to local amenities. With off street parking for several cars. The property has open plan living in a very contemporary style, a wood burner in the lounge making this very cosy. With rear bi-fold doors bringing the outside in. Front and back gardens both sun traps.

The cottage offers a perfect base for exploring the area, and is well connected by road, bus and rail.

Whitby House With Parking Good Location Sleeps 4

Freyr is a charming 2-bed house located in the North Yorkshire fishing town of Whitby. The property sleeps 4 people in two bedrooms - a double and a twin both with en-suite facilities. One bathroom has a shower unit and the other has a bath with a shower over. On the ground floor, there is a cloakroom with a WC and hand basin, a fully equipped kitchen and a comfortable lounge diner. Patio doors lead out to a charming garden with decking and a dining area.

Coach House Cottage a perfect seaside retreat

Coach House Cottage is an old Fishermans cottage above what used to be a stables and coach store (Now a dinosaur and fossil museum). Well situated, above the main street, in the lower part of Robin Hoods Bay it is moments from the beach, the dock, and the hustle and bustle of village life. The cottage is approached along cobbled alleys and/or up a series of stone steps. It is set in its own private back alley.
