NB: LINEN, TOWELS & TOILETRIES NOT PROVIDED! Snug little mid-terrace property in a tiny village on Hadrian's Wall on the English side of the Solway Firth. Rather shabby but full of character & very cosy. Port Carlisle has a faded splendour - built on the site of a fishing village, for a brief time it was a major port serving Carlisle, with its own canal & later a railway; in the 1850s the Firth silted up so ships could no longer get in. Birdwatchers, walkers, fans of history, dogs will love it!

With views over looking the solway shore onto the beautiful mountains in Lake District, we offer this self catering cabin, with your own private and secure garden for any four legged friends you may wish to bring with you. Situated in a rural location with amazing walks on your doorstep. Our local town amenities are within a 2mile walk or 5minute drive. There are many tourist attractions near by that can either be reached by car, bus or train. This accommodation offers something for everybody.

Camping pod in western lakes

Our cosy pod sleeps 2 adults comfortably but could sleep 3 adults or 2 plus 1 young child. Pet friendly. Inside the pod is a double bed, a single futon mattress, kettle, toaster and oil filled radiator, carpeted floor, black out curtains. no bedding is supplied. The pod is small but cosy. The onsite games room provides extra space. Based on our working farm with panoramic views of local fells and Skiddaw. We have 3 camping pods all sited for guest privacy but could all be hired by friends.

Set in the garden of an old sandstone farmhouse this summerhouse offers a relaxing getaway with views over the Cumbrian hills and beautiful shoreline walks. Set just on the outskirts of the town of Annan you have access to all local amenities within a mile radius. Belonging to the 17th century Grade II listed High Greenrigg House, it offers all the modern conveniences whilst retaining the character of such an historic building. Our cedarwood lodge has been designed and built for our family and friends to use when they visit. It is in a rural setting about 4 miles outside the market town of Cockermouth but is actually located in the Lake District National Park with stunning views over the fells, Binsey, Skiddaw, Bassenthwaite Lake and Keswick. The lodge has been designed to make the most of those idyllic views and is a retreat for anyone wanting to relax, unwind and enjoy our “world Heritage” status.

Annan, Dumfries & Galloway, Scotland Barn - 2 Bed

Watchhall Annexe is a recently converted barn, situated on the edge of the Royal Burgh Town of Annan. Attached to Watchhall House, it overlooks the Solway Firth and has views of the Lake District hills. It is within a 10-minute drive of the M6/M74 corridor on the Scottish-England border at Gretna. The area boasts lots of lovely places to eat and relax. Ideal for walking and cycling. Gretna Gateway Outlet Village and famous wedding venue is just a 10-minute drive away.

Hovel House Shed

The Shed has been custom built, in the paddock, near my small barn conversion. It has a homely atmosphere, with vintage furnishings and up-cycled items. Where possible I’ve tried to be eco friendly. This is a quiet, tranquil place with beautiful views of the Scottish hills beyond the Solway Firth. It’s part of a small hamlet and my former family farm. Animals are often kept in the fields next to The Shed. You’ll experience stunning sunsets and starry skies.
