Beautiful Cotswold Cottage with stunning views

I have recently renovated my beautiful Cotswold cottage, taking inspiration from rustic French farmhouses and Moroccan riads, and filling it with eclectic old pieces of furniture and art I have picked up on my travels. I grew up in the village and now live half the time there and half the time in London, so I can give lots of tips for places to visit, eat and explore. The cottage can sleep up to 6 people, and is managed by my friend Kate from Stay Country who will liaise with you if you book.

This quaint cottage in the beautiful village of Alderton has been refurbished to a high standard, an open plan living area including a kitchen/diner leading into a living space .Off the hallway is a downstairs WC. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, one with king size bed, the second with twin beds and a family bathroom. The outside space offers a small pretty area to relax, read, eat, & drink wine. This idyllic village has everything on offer, a village shop, pub & play park in stunning setting.

We don't just offer you somewhere to sleep; at Beam House you can indulge in all the Cotswolds and Cheltenham have to offer knowing you can return to a uniquely styled period house in Winchombe's historic Gloucester Street. Expect soft cotton linens, a wood burning stove, Farrow and Ball paint, exposed beams and stone and oak floors. We offer a unique and stylish retreat ideal for relaxing and exploring. Surrounded by nature in a beautiful location, with amazing walks and an abundance of wildlife. Have an early breakfast on the deck and you may spy a grazing deer! No Wifi but very good 4G, terrestrial TV, board games, fire-pit BBQ & a very comfy bed. The stylish horse box bathroom also has mains plumbing. Well behaved dogs are very welcome…let us know if they’re joining you.

Regency Apartment | Free Parking | Walk to Town

Ideally located within walking distance of Cheltenham town centre and the racecourse, this recently refurbished apartment offers a comfortable private living space within a large Regency house. Perfect for couples, the apartment sleeps 2, with space for up to 4 using additional single beds if required. Please contact us before booking if you would like the single beds prepared. I co-host with my son Patrick, husband John and daughter Rachel, and we’re always happy to help during your stay.

The Annex at Stonehaven

The Annex offers dog friendly accommodation with plenty of outdoor space. It has a bedroom with en-suite shower, a large kitchen and shower room, and open plan living room with double bed, dining and sofa areas. There is parking, a courtyard and garden. We are between Cheltenham, Gloucester and Tewkesbury. Mon-Fri your host grooms dogs in a room connected to the Annex. Dogs or driers might be heard during the day on weekdays and access needed to cleaning cupboard and tumble dryer in annex.

It is close to Cheltenham renowned (festival) race horse track, literature and jazz festivals as well as the annual airshow at Fairford and much more. The area has many wonderful markets, pubs, spas and walks all within easy reach. A step back in time to the Roman age and beyond but with up to date amenities!

The Stableyard

Nestling within the beautiful golden valley in the heart of the Cotswolds is The Stableyard, a recently converted stable building positioned next to a 16th century mill owner's house, The Old Valley Inn. The Stableyard is the perfect, peaceful place for a couple to unwind and enjoy this fantastic area, which boasts a picturesque canal path and walks a plenty. Not that easy to find. Relax in our lovingly-converted dairy on our small working family farm overlooking Cheltenham. Superb views and sunsets from the quiet and private accommodation. Meet our alpacas, donkeys and pygmy goats and enjoy our free range eggs. Walk in our 80 acres of natural hillside, see the wildlife and enjoy the scenery. We are near the Cotswold Way, GWSR Steam Railway and Cheltenham Racecourse, and approx. 2 miles to the centre of Cheltenham - the heart of the Cotswolds.
