Idyllic Cottage in Scenic Donegal

The cottage comprises two double bedrooms, both ensuite. There is a fully equipped kitchen/diner with table and chairs. The property has oil fired central heating. There is a downstairs bathroom and large living room with a stove which has a TV, dvd player and cd player. A travel cot and highchair are available on request. There is excellent wifi. There is a garden and a patio area to the back with tables and chairs. Linen and towels are provided. A welcome basket will be provided.

Riverrun Cottage is the first in a row of three old stone cottages on the banks of the Faymore river. Set on a private lane and accessed under an old stone arch. The cottage looks across to Ards Forest Park and has wonderful views down the estuary to Sheephaven bay. A cosy, comfortable retreat minutes from Marble Hill beach, Ards Forest and close to Muckish mountain. Good local pubs and dining in Creeslough and nearby Dunfanaghy.

There are no street lights and it is four km from the nearest shop. It is immersed in nature and is suitable for people seeking peace and quiet who value wildlife and conservation. We have wifi but it is not reliable. Phone coverage in the lodge is very limited depending on your network.
